The movie was already a hot topic among audiences and the recently released teaser has further generated curiosity. ## Pushpa 2 teaser was launched on April 8 on the occasion of Allu Arjun's birthday and has so far scored over 100 million views on YouTube. It has now broken a major record of having trended at number 1 on YT for 138 hours, making it the first Tollywood teaser to trend at number one for this long. ## Mythri Movie Makers announced on social media that the Pushpa 2 teaser has garnered 110+ million and 1.55+ million likes since it was launched and the views are growing rapidly with each passing hour. Hyderabad, April 10 - Siddhu Jonnalagadda's romantic crime comedy Tillu Square, a sequel to his blockbuster film DJ Tillu (2022), has become the third Telugu movie of 2024 to hit 100 crores gross at the worldwide box office. ## The Mallik Ram's directorial movie has minted an estimated 73 crores at the Indian box office and 27 crores overseas in 12 days, earning more than 3X of the first movie that minted around 30 crores worldwide in its full run. ## Tillu Square, also starring Anupama Parameswaran, is the third Telugu film of 2024 after Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram, and director Prasanth Varma's mega-blockbuster Hanuman, and the first for Siddhu to hit 100 crores gross at the global box office. ## The movie received super positive word of mouth and has been unstoppable at the box office since its release on March 29. Hyderabad, April 3 - Director Prasanth Varma's superhero movie Hanuman, starring Teja Sajja, has been one of the biggest highlights of 2024 as far as the Indian movies are concerned. Released amid less expectations during the Sankranthi festival weekend, the movie proved everyone wrong with its sensational performance. ## Hanuman hit the big screens on January 12, amid bigger titles in the form of Guntur Kaaram, Saindhav, and Naa Saami Ranga. However, thanks to superb word of mouth, the film outdid every other film to emerge as one of the all-time biggest Telugu blockbusters. ## Produced by Primeshow Entertainment, Hanuman grossed over 100 crores in its first week at the domestic box office, before showing a marvellous hold in the second week with a drop of just around 30% for a huge 70+ crores gross. Hyderabad, March 30 - Siddhu Jonnalagadda's romantic crime comedy film Tillu Square, a sequel to his blockbuster DJ Tillu (2022), took a sensational opening at the worldwide box office, grossing 70% of its predecessor's lifetime collection on the first day itself. ## The much-talked-about sequel opened to positive reports all over which led to the excellent collection at the box office. Directed by Malik Ram, Tillu Square scored a huge 23 crore gross collection worldwide, including approximately 13 crore in India and 10 crore at the overseas box office on its first day. ## DJ Tillu, which was released in February 2022, had grossed approximately 30.50 crores globally in its lifetime run, which has been outgrossed by its sequel on its second day only. The Prashanth Neel's directorial announced the film's sequel at the end of the first part and now, there is an exciting update on the same. ## The sequel of the film was titled Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryanga Parvam and the makers have been saying that it will go on floors soon. Actor Bobby Simha, who played a key role in the movie, has revealed in an interview (via 123telugu.com) that Salaar 2 will be on floors in April 2024. ## Producer Vijay Kiragandur confirmed in a recent interview that they are planning to start the filming as soon as possible for a grand release in 2025. The movie's box office performance also made makers pause its digital release, something which is rare for a South Indian movie nowadays. ## Starring Teja Sajja, Hanuman was released on January 12 during the Sankranthi festival along with a couple of other movies on either date. The movie initially faced challenges in getting desired screens in Telugu states as it wasn't a big film compared to other movies released during the same period. ## To overcome the challenges, Hanuman needed solid audience word-of-mouth and once it happened, it looked unstoppable. Hyderabad, February 26 - Director Prashanth Varma's blockbuster Hanuman has crossed 200 crores net collection at the domestic box office, becoming the first Telugu and second Indian film of 2024 to achieve the feat. ## Starring Teja Sajja, the superhero movie hit the milestone of 200 crores net in its 7th weekend and currently stands at around 200.30 crores net in all languages. The Telugu version of the film is leading by a huge margin over other languages with around 144 crores, followed by the Hindi version with 52 crores net. ## The Hindi version of the movie has yielded a big surprise at the box office as it is only the 11th South Indian film to mint 50 crores net or more in this particular language. The other languages, including Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil, have made around 4 crores net. ## Hanuman will almost finish nearly 300 crores gross at the worldwide box office. Mumbai, February 11 - Director Prasanth Varma's superhero movie Hanuman has unlocked a box office achievement as it has crossed 50 crores net in the dubbed Hindi version while worldwide, it is heading towards 300 crores gross mark. ## Starring Teja Sajja in the lead role, Hanuman had a limited release to begin with as it started with approximately 2.10 crores net in Hindi. However, with super positive word of mouth, the movie started gaining momentum and now on its 30th day, it has topped 50 crores net mark. ## Hanuman is the 11th South Indian and 7th Telugu film to hit 50 crores net collection in Hindi. The total net collection of the film currently stands at approximately 194.50 crores, including a little over 50 crores in Hindi alone.## The film is also heading towards hitting 300 crores gross at the worldwide box office, however, it may fall short of the target. It has so far grossed approximately 285.25 crores in 30 days and is likely to score another 5-7 crores gross to finish over 290 crores mark. ## Hanuman, as reported earlier, is the highest-grossing Telugu movie ever to release in the month of January, beating superstar Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (269 crores). Mumbai, February 9 - Pan India superstar Prabhas' action drama film Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire has officially revealed its digital partner for the Hindi version. The movie, directed by Prashanth Neel, is already streaming on Netflix in the South Indian languages. ## Since the film's Netflix release in South Indian versions, there have been enquiries about the streaming date of the Hindi version. Hombale Films, on Friday (February 9), officially revealed that Salaar Hindi will be coming on Disney Plus Hotstar on February 16. ## Unlike South Indian versions, the Hindi version of Salaar will be streaming after 8 weeks of theatrical release, and this is one of the major reasons Netflix is not the OTT partner of the film for Hindi. The movie is expected to bring good viewership for Hotstar. ## Netflix was hoping for a break-out success with Salaar in South Indian languages but the response so far has been underwhelming with just 3.5 million views in two weeks.## Meanwhile, Salaar: Ceasefire" grossed approximately 618 crores at the worldwide box office, making it the highest-grossing South Indian film of 2023.
