Prabhas' 'Kalki 2898 AD' North America Rights Sold For 50 Crore

Hyderabad, May 25 - Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD has landed its North America theatrical distribution with Prathyangira Cinemas and AA Creations for a huge sum. The movie is directed by Nag Ashwin and also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, and Kamal Haasan.

According to reports, Prathyangira Cinemas and AA Creations have acquired distribution rights for the sci-fi epic at a huge price of 50 crores for North America on a refundable advance basis. It is one of the biggest deals for an Indian movie.



Prathyangira Cinemas previously released Prabhas-fronted, Salaar on record number of screens and the same is expected for Kalki 2898 AD as well.

Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, Kalki is easily one of the most anticipated Indian films of the year. Inspired by Hindu scriptures, the film is set in a post-apocalyptic world, in the year 2898 AD. It is scheduled to be released on June 27, 2024, in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil.
