Drew McIntyre Qualifies For The Men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match

Last Monday was truly a night of upsets as Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, and one-half of the Raw Tag Team Champions AJ Styles all stunningly came up short in their bid to qualify for this year’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. ## At the beginning of the show, Sonya/Adam announced that Randy Orton was scheduled to be involved in a triple threat MITB qualifier, but he can't compete. Battle Royal to open WWE Raw with the winner moving on to that match. ## Riddle won the Battle Royal, but couldn't win against Styles and McIntyre. The main event featured Drew McIntyre winning the match. ## Thus, McIntyre joins Ricochet, John Morrison, Riddle, and Big E. Back from the commercial break as Elias has a message for Jaxson Ryker that he dropped earlier today. ## Up next is Jaxson Ryker with that Strap, chopping on his back. The bell rings as Elias goes right after Ryker and pummels into the corner, Elias takes him out and sends crashing through the steel steps. ## Elias covers Ryker's hand with the Turnbuckle, Rykers rolls out and gets Elias back inside the ring. Ryker sends Elias to the apron and pulls him back into the ring. ## Elias with a jumping knee for a near fall. Ryker with a kick and then he straps Elias and Irish whips Elias into the turnbuckles. The match kicks off...Morrison with a kick and he misses a round kick. Ricochet with an elbow drop for a near fall. Morrison with a mule kick for a near fall. ## Morrison with a knee to the midsection and a forearm to the head. Ricochet with a dropkick to send Morrison to the floor. ## Morrison crawls back to the apron, Ricochet with a baseball slide that sends Morrison into the announce table, and Miz rolls in front of Morrison. Ricochet uses the wheelchair to hit a Rana. Miz tries to spray Ricochet but Ricochet grabs Miz' stick and sprays Miz with it. ## Back from the commercial break as Ricochet with punches and chops. Morrison with a Springboard round kick, but that he misses, but Ricochet does not miss with a springboard crossbody. ## Ricochet with an inside cradle for a near fall. Morrison with a kick and follows up the top rope for Starship Pain and he misses it when Ricochet moves. ## Morrison goes over the ringside barrier to avoid Ricochet. Morrison is on the ringside barrier and Ricochet with a springboard crossbody. The crowd is loud and proud. WWE Money In The Bank 2021 features the WWE Championship match between Bobby Lashley and Kofi Kingston.## Bobby Lashley closed the door on one former champion at WWE Hell in a Cell, but another one has his sights on The All-Mighty at WWE Money in the Bank. Lashley goes head-to-head with Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship in front of the WWE Universe. ## Both superstars Bobby Lashley and Kofi Kingston are in the building. The crowd is so pumped Kofi, not so good for Lashley. The match starts off with Lashley attempting to drive shoulder, but Kofi sides up as Lashley crashes into the turnbuckle.## Kinston with a Double Stomp, Lashley gets the lead with Cloteline then drives Kingston with a Chokeslam. Lashley ducks Kingston over the top ropes. Kingston is up on Lashley's Shoulder, Lashley sends him into the ring post twice. ## No one is enjoying the show as much as MVP is...Kingston is all busted open. WWE universe is all about cheering for Kingston. Lashley with a massive elbow into the turnbuckle. ## Lashley once again with a Flatliner, Lashley is fired up. Lashley with a Hurt Lock, but Kingston gets a nice reversal, Lashley is still able to perform a Suplex over the head. Lashley goes ground and pound. Lashley with a dominator twice. ## No mercy from Lashley...Lashley once again hoists up Kingston and tosses him into the mate. WWE Money In The Bank 2021 features the Raw Women's Championship match between Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley. ## Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair will look to settle their unfinished business in a Raw Women’s Title rematch at WWE Money in the Bank. Both women have an intense staredown...The light goes, looks like we have a surprise, but nope...The lights are back. Flair with a Slipper hold, attempting an advantage. ## Ripley runs knees onto the back of Flair. Ripley follows up a flip on the apron, but Flair sides up as Ripley crashes into the ground. Flair ducks her back to the ring and follows up a Suplex into the turnbuckle. ## Charlotte Flair is all fired up, Flair with an elbow to break a Slipper hold, Ripley is able to duck Flair over the top rope. Both are back into the middle, Rhea Ripley with two Clotheslines and rocks Flair with a Headbutt. ## Ripley's back kicks followed by a Suplex for a near fall. Charlotte Flair with Suplex, but Ripley is able to land on her feet and instead had her own Suplex. Ripley from the top follows up a Dropkick, but Flair turns it into a Figure Four leglock. ## Ripley repositions and gets out of the Figure Four leglock, Ripley with an incredible power to muscle out Flair with a Vertical Suplex for near fall. ## Ripley with multiple chops, but nothing effective as she variously ducks into the ring post. Flair is all above and performs a massive Moonsault. Ripley looks to have a Riptide, but Flair turns it into a DDT for near fall. Flair with a back elbow and gets the near-fall as Ripley is able to touch the bottom ropes. ## Ripley is back to fire up, she pushes Flair up to the top of the turnbuckle, attempting to have Superplex, but Flair attacks on Ripley's knee as she goes down. Immediately Flair with a Natural Selection for near fall. ## Ecos go high, Flair sends Ripley's Skull into the ring post and then clinches Ripley's left leg into the steel steps only to be crashed. Fort Worth, July 18, 2021: WWE Money In The Bank 2021 features the Universal Championship Match between Roman Reigns (c) (with Paul Heyman) Vs. Edge. ## The Rated-R Superstar emerged for the first time since WrestleMania, furiously attacking Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso on SmackDown. now, as first revealed on WWE Talking Smack, Edge will challenge The Head of the Table one-one-one for the prestigious title at WWE Money in the Bank. ## Roman has some words for Edge before they lock up. They lock up and Roman with a clean break. They lock up and Edge backs Roman into the corner and Edge with a pie face to Roman in the corner. Reigns telling Edge "this is my ring" as they near each other. ## Roman Reigns is fully fired up...Reigns with a Headbutt and then runs shoulders into the turnbuckle. Edge is back to attacking mood. He drives Roman into the ring post twice. Roman rolls out and has a talk with Paul Heyman, Roman back to the ring, apparently landing a big right hand. Edge is out...Roman Reigns with a Samoa Drop into the ground. The referee makes the counts. At the count of eight, Ege rolls in. ## Reigns continue to put on damage, Edge is ducked out in front of the announce desk. Reigns is bouncing off Edge up to the Steel steps. Both are back to the middle, Reigns has Forearms followed by a Headbutt.## Roman Reigns drives Edge into the ring post. Meanwhile, the crowd chants: "Roman sucks". A suplex by Reigns for near fall. Body shots from Edge, but Reigns appears with a right hand to the jaw. Edge is hung on the bottom rope. Roman rolls out and follows up a Drive-by for near fall. Roman looking to have a Superman punch as Edge recovers, Edge avoids that Punch and gets a Back Slide for near fall.## Edge is back, Reigns is back. Edge is rebounding Reigns off the ropes. Roman misses an uppercut and Edge with an Edge-O-Matic. Edge with punches to Roman. Edge puts Roman on the turnbuckles and Roman with a back elbow.## Edge with an STF, Roman tries to power out of the hold and Edge is able to reapply the hold. Roman attempts to get to the ropes and Edge turns it into a Crossface. Roman gets to the rope to force a break of the hold. Edge with a spear attempt but Roman counters with a guillotine. Edge backs Roman into the corner but Roman reapplies the guillotine. ## Roman sets for a spear and he misses and goes through the ringside barrier. Edge goes to the floor and spears Roman through another part of the ringside barrier. Reigns brings him back into the ring. Edge fires back and sets for the Impaler DDT but Roman with a punch. Roman with a Superman punch as Edge falls into the referee and he goes down. ## Roman gets a chair and stomps on it to break apart a piece of it. The referee falls to the floor. Edge blocks the Crossface using the piece of the chair while the referee is checked on by the medical staff. ## Edge head butts to escape. Now, Edge instead picks up the piece of the chair and puts Roman in the Crossface. Meanwhile, Jimmy Uso and Jey Uos make their way to the ring and they are pulled out of the ring by Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio. Rollins with a kick to the head of Edge and goes to the back. ## Roman sets for the spear but Edge with a spear instead. Another referee finally comes to the ring and Roman kicks out at two.
