Fort Worth, July 18, 2021: WWE Money In The Bank 2021 features the Universal Championship Match between Roman Reigns (c) (with Paul Heyman) Vs. Edge.

The Rated-R Superstar emerged for the first time since WrestleMania, furiously attacking Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso on SmackDown. now, as first revealed on WWE Talking Smack, Edge will challenge The Head of the Table one-one-one for the prestigious title at WWE Money in the Bank.

Roman has some words for Edge before they lock up. They lock up and Roman with a clean break. They lock up and Edge backs Roman into the corner and Edge with a pie face to Roman in the corner. Reigns telling Edge "this is my ring" as they near each other.

Roman Reigns is fully fired up...Reigns with a Headbutt and then runs shoulders into the turnbuckle. Edge is back to attacking mood. He drives Roman into the ring post twice. Roman rolls out and has a talk with Paul Heyman, Roman back to the ring, apparently landing a big right hand. Edge is out...Roman Reigns with a Samoa Drop into the ground. The referee makes the counts. At the count of eight, Ege rolls in.

Reigns continue to put on damage, Edge is ducked out in front of the announce desk. Reigns is bouncing off Edge up to the Steel steps. Both are back to the middle, Reigns has Forearms followed by a Headbutt.

Roman Reigns drives Edge into the ring post. Meanwhile, the crowd chants: "Roman sucks". A suplex by Reigns for near fall. Body shots from Edge, but Reigns appears with a right hand to the jaw. Edge is hung on the bottom rope. Roman rolls out and follows up a Drive-by for near fall. Roman looking to have a Superman punch as Edge recovers, Edge avoids that Punch and gets a Back Slide for near fall.

Edge is back, Reigns is back. Edge is rebounding Reigns off the ropes. Roman misses an uppercut and Edge with an Edge-O-Matic. Edge with punches to Roman. Edge puts Roman on the turnbuckles and Roman with a back elbow.

Edge with an STF, Roman tries to power out of the hold and Edge is able to reapply the hold. Roman attempts to get to the ropes and Edge turns it into a Crossface. Roman gets to the rope to force a break of the hold. Edge with a spear attempt but Roman counters with a guillotine. Edge backs Roman into the corner but Roman reapplies the guillotine.

Roman sets for a spear and he misses and goes through the ringside barrier. Edge goes to the floor and spears Roman through another part of the ringside barrier. Reigns brings him back into the ring. Edge fires back and sets for the Impaler DDT but Roman with a punch. Roman with a Superman punch as Edge falls into the referee and he goes down.

Roman gets a chair and stomps on it to break apart a piece of it. The referee falls to the floor. Edge blocks the Crossface using the piece of the chair while the referee is checked on by the medical staff.

Edge head butts to escape. Now, Edge instead picks up the piece of the chair and puts Roman in the Crossface. Meanwhile, Jimmy Uso and Jey Uos make their way to the ring and they are pulled out of the ring by Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio. Rollins with a kick to the head of Edge and goes to the back.

Roman sets for the spear but Edge with a spear instead. Another referee finally comes to the ring and Roman kicks out at two. Rollins out for another distraction, Edge boots him off the apron, Reigns spears Edge, 1-2-3.
