Falls Count Anywhere Match Rules In Wrestling | Details

Falls Count Anywhere Match is a type of match that may take place in various parts of the arena. ## The "falls count anywhere" provision is almost always accompanied with a "no-disqualification" stipulation to make the match a hardcore match, so as to allow wrestlers the convenience to use any objects they may find wherever they wrestle. ## What is a Falls Count Anywhere Match? ## A falls count anywhere match allows pinfalls to take place in any location, negating the standard rule that they must take place inside the ring and between the ropes. Submissions may or may not also be covered by this rule. This also doesn't include the usual "countout" rule. ## What are the rules of a Falls Count Anywhere Match? ## A variation of the rules states that once a pinfall takes place, the pinned wrestler loses the match if they are unable to return to the ring within a specific amount of time – usually a referee's count of 10 or 30. ## If the pinned wrestler makes it to the ring in this time, the match continues. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk.

Sting Reveals He Always Wanted To Have A Last Match With The Undertaker

Sting is highly regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, having cultivated a legacy over a career spanning five decades. ## Sting still holds hope for a match with The Undertaker, claiming that such a match is his "unfinished business" in wrestling. ## As noted, the match between both legends would never happen as despite Sting pitching the idea for a cinematic match with Undertaker, it was never approved, and Undertaker himself officially retired in 2020. ## Speaking with Paste Magazine, Sting assessed multiple reasons on why Sting Vs. Taker didn't take place. Sting starts off if Is there anything in wrestling that he hasn't accomplished that he still hopes to?## "There really isn’t anything, no, that I feel like I have to accomplish," Sting commented. "No. At one point I thought it was a cinematic match, at least, against Undertaker, you know when I was with WWE. But that was not going to happen. And I thought, you know, I didn’t want to just disappear, either. Yeah, I retired. I did a retirement speech and got inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, blah blah blah." ## "I don’t want to just disappear. I always wanted to have that last match, and that never happened. And then Tony Khan called me, and I figured I’d just call Tony back, and see what’s going on. The rest is history. I’m glad I did what I did. It’s been a great experience. If I had to go out now, I could at least say I did a cinematic match with some very talented people, and got rave reviews. What a way to go out." ## "I don’t care about who I wrestle, I just want people to walk away saying, “oh, that was so good, that was incredible. What a great match.” And as far as me personally, it’s like, “how does he do it, at his age? How does he do it?” I want them to say, “he’s still bringing it.” I love to entertain the people." ## "To this day, I honestly don’t know. I don’t even know, it could be Taker. Maybe Taker just never really wanted to work with me. Maybe they brought it up and he kind of snubbed his nose and said he didn’t really want to do that. For whatever reason, even though Taker and I have always gotten along great. I don’t think he has issues with me, I certainly don’t have any issues with him." ## "I just have a great amount of respect for him. But I have no idea why that match never happened. I think it was not right that it didn’t happen. It’s something that I believe should have happened. I said it for 20 years, I made it clear, you know, “I’d love to have that match, I’d love to have one with that guy.” With the two characters, I had so many ideas of how we could’ve done that, and made it definitely a night that nobody would ever forget. But you know what, I’m here, I’m with AEW, I love what’s going on here, and I love what’s getting ready to happen. And I’m glad I made that move and came here." ## If you use any of the quotes in this article, please credit Paste Magazine ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk.

Fans Compare AEW Dynamite's Blood & Guts Event To The Classic WarGames Matches Of The 80s & 90s

Jacksonville May 5, 2021: Wrestling fans are comparing AEW Dynamite's Blood & Guts event to the classic WarGames matches of the 80s and 90s. ## Ever since the concept was first announced back in early 2020 fans have immediately related it to the classic WCW WarGames matches of the 80s and 90s. In many ways they are the same — two teams, two rings surrounded by one cage, the match can only end by submission or knockout once every competitor has officially entered. ## It was called a "Blood and Guts match" since the WarGames trademark is owned by WWE. The rules for the Blood and Guts match were based on the classic WarGames format from Jim Crockett Promotions, and not the modern WWE format. ## The well-known format variations between the classic Crockett rules and the modern WWE rules are an imprisoned cage with a roof which was excavated in modern versions and the match can only be won with a submission or surrender. ## Is it me, or does this feel more...frantic? More chaotic than what NXT has done with War Games. It’s basically the same rules but this has been so much more intense so early compared to those matches? It seems like the NXT ones took forever to get CRAZY #AEWDynamite— JDfromNY (@JDfromNY206) May 6, 2021 ## What a time to be a wrestling fan. Major free agents out there while a major alternative to the WWE is on TNT. All this while a War Games match takes place tonight.
