AEW Women's World Champion Hikaru Shida once again retains the title by defeating Ryo Mizunami.## As noted, January 20 episode of Dynamite, AEW announced a 16-woman, single-elimination tournament to determine the #1 Contender for the AEW Women's World Championship, with the winner receiving a title shot at Revolution.## The tournament was broken into two separate brackets, with eight women competing in matches in the United States and the other eight competing in Japan, with the winner of each bracket facing each other in the tournament final on the March 3 episode of Dynamite to determine the overall winner and number one contender for the AEW Women's World Championship at Revolution. The United States bracket began during February 10 episode at Daily's Place.## The Japan bracket began February 15 and aired on AEW's YouTube channel, broadcasting from Ice Ribbon Dojo. AEW Announced Rules For a men's tag team variation of AEW's Casino Battle Royale.## The tag team battle royal will feature a to-be-announced number of tag teams. The order of entrants is based on a lottery. Two tag teams start the match, and every 90 seconds, a new team enters.## Individual eliminations occur when a wrestler has gone over the top rope and both feet hit the floor; a team is eliminated when both members of the team have been ruled out of the match. The match ends one one wrestler or team is left. Shaquille O’Neal is set to battle in a mixed Tag-Team match in his first-ever pro wrestling match. As announced earlier, Shaq addressed AEW with Tony Schiavone This Wednesday on AEW Dynamite Show.## The NBA legend and current “Inside the NBA” analyst will take part in a mixed-tag match with his partner Jade Cargill against All Elite Wrestling stars Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet on the March 3 episode of “AEW Dynamite” on TNT, the promotion announced Wednesday.## The match was officially made at AEW Dynamite: Beach Break, when Shaq addressed AEW with Tony Schiavone. The return of Riho will lineup The inaugural All Elite Wrestling Women's Eliminator Tournament. Officially confirmed by the promotion NWA Women's Champion Serena Deeb will be facing off Riho in the round of the AEW Women's Eliminator Tournament.## As noted, On the February 12 episode of Dynamite, Riho lost the AEW Women's Championship to Rose, ending her reign at 133 days. This is Riho’s first AEW since March since the pandemic hit. Darby Allin Debuts The New TNT Championship

At AEW New Year's Smash night one, Darby Allin presented the new TNT Championship, which includes a black strap instead of a red strap.
