Greensboro, August 12, 2023 - Here is the live coverage for this week's edition of AEW Collision which is set to take place on August 12, 2023, live from Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC. ## AEW Collision starts at 8 PM ET. This is 5 PM PT, 1 AM BST, and 8 AM AEST. The show will run for two hours, so it will end at 10 PM ET. ## Buddy Matthews, Malakai Black, and Brody King from the House of Black are ready to defend their AEW World Trios Titles against Cash Wheeler, Dax Harwood, and CM Punk from the CMFTR. The celebrated trio has been absent from the ring since the AEW Trios Title Match. However, they are set to make their comeback on this week's AEW Collision. ## Furthermore, a tag team showdown is lined up for the upcoming episode, pitting Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale against Mercedes Martinez and Diamante. ## AEW Collision, August 12, 2023, Live Update Ricky Starks Is Live To Speak ## In the ring, Tony Schiavone greeted Ricky Starks, who came out amidst jeers, clutching the belt he used to whip Steamboat. Schiavone declared that Starks was slapped with a 30-day wrestling suspension. Starks explained his actions against Steamboat, emphasizing that actions have consequences. He foresaw his AEW suspension and cleverly obtained a manager's license to stay on the show. ## Directing his words to CM Punk, Starks laid blame for Ricky Steamboat on Punk's doorstep. He twisted Punk's own words, questioning if Punk could handle his victory. Starks vowed to kick off a battle and bring it right to Punk's doorstep, starting next week. Departing amid loud cheers, Starks delivered a compelling promo and set an intriguing course for his feud with Punk, which will unfold after the upcoming pay-per-views. ## A video recap showcased the previous bouts between FTR & The Young Bucks, offering a sneak peek into their decisive match at All In. ## The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) Vs The Iron Savages (Boulder & Bronson) (w/ Jacked Jameson) ## The Acclaimed entered the scene sporting Billy Gunn's boots. Bowens quickly caught on and cut short his introduction. They teamed up against Bronson, launching a double assault before Boulder entered the fray. Despite their onslaught, the burly Boulder weathered their attacks and countered with a combo move, performing a Samoan Drop followed by a fallaway slam, just as we went into a commercial break. ## As we returned from the break, Caster managed to evade Bronson's hefty splash. Bowens got the tag and unleashed controlled chaos, taking charge until Boulder abruptly launched him with a flapjack maneuver. The Savages executed a tandem Main Event Spinebuster on Bowens, almost securing a pinfall that was interrupted by Caster's intervention. The Savages aimed for their impressive Tower Splash, but Caster intervened again, dropkicking Bronson off Boulder's shoulders. Caster executed a Death Valley Driver on Boulder, paving the way for the Acclaimed to deliver Scissor Me Timbers on the meddlesome Jameson. Wrapping up their offense, the Acclaimed struck with a dual Fameasser on the Savages, and Caster secured the victory with the pinfall. ## WINNER: The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) ## Following the match, Caster took hold of the microphone and declared their upcoming appearance on this Wednesday's Dynamite. He emphasized their connection with Billy Gunn's spirit, which they believe will drive them back to the top. Bowens chimed in, noting that the audience never had the chance to bid farewell to Gunn. To pay tribute, he encouraged everyone to raise the scissors gesture. ## In the backstage area, Lexy Nair caught up with Bullet Club Gold. They boasted about their recent achievements, with White asserting that their current rendition of Bullet Club is the most superior. White pointed out that while some may label themselves as elite, they lack the rightful claim. The Young Bucks, too, cannot be regarded as the supreme brother tag team in wrestling, as that title belongs to the Gunns. The Gunns are set to make their presence felt on Dynamite this Wednesday to assert this. ## A video montage recounted the history between MJF & Adam Cole, fueling anticipation for the main event at Wembley. ## Diamante & Mercedes Martinez Vs TBS Champion Kris Statlander & Willow Nightingale ## Statlander and Diamante kicked things off, with Diamante maintaining control by keeping Statlander grounded until Statlander managed to catch her with a crossbody. Nightingale tagged in, delivering a swift low crossbody for a close nearfall. Martinez intervened, holding onto Diamante to counter a Pounce attempt. Diamante capitalized with a basement dropkick, seizing the momentum. Martinez then ensnared Nightingale in a Paradise Lock, striking a pose alongside Diamante. They teamed up for a double-dropkick, releasing Nightingale from the hold just before the commercial break. ## As we returned from the break, Nightingale valiantly fought off a two-on-one assault. She executed a main event spinebuster on Diamante, who crashed onto Martinez. Nightingale promptly tagged in the TBS Champion, Statlander, who surged with energy. Together, Statlander and Nightingale executed synchronized sentons. Martinez, however, hurled Statlander into Nightingale, causing Nightingale to tumble off the apron. In a swift follow-up, Martinez launched Diamante onto her adversaries on the outside. ## The contest gradually evolved into a Pier Four melee. Ultimately, Martinez managed to secure a pinfall victory over Nightingale, assisted by Diamante's leverage. ## WINNER: Diamante & Mercedes Martinez ## ROH Television Champion Samoa Joe Vs Andrew Everett ## Riccaboni let us know that Joe was just a fortnight away from hitting the 500-day mark as the TV Champion in this reign. Everett demonstrated his nimbleness, yet Joe efficiently subdued him with the Coquina Clutch. ## Post-match, Joe grabbed the mic, recalling his challenge to CM Punk from the previous week. He was met with the resounding quietude of a coward. He extended the courtesy of asking for the match, but now he intends to compel Punk to accept. ## WINNER: ROH Television Champion Samoa Joe ## The TNT Champion Speaks ## After the announcers outlined the current All In card, TNT Champion Luchasaurus & Christian Cage entered the ring. They revisited Luchasaurus' recent attack on Darby Allin during the last Rampage episode, an incident that even brought a young girl in the crowd to tears. Christian playfully ribbed the audience, jesting that they often ranked second best in many aspects. He cited examples like Michael Jordan, who was second to LeBron James in basketball greatness, and Ric Flair, who Christian humorously implied was runner-up to himself. ## Shifting his focus to Darby Allin, Christian emphasized that as long as he holds the TNT Championship, Allin won't ever capture that title. He playfully speculated that Allin's half-painted face reflected his partially dead inside nature. Christian warned that if Allin continued to pursue him, he'd ensure to complete the job and extinguish the remaining 50% of his spirit. ## Arn & Brock Anderson then made their entrance, claiming this territory as Horsemen Country. Arn reminded Luchasaurus of his previous TNT Championship reign before Christian interjected. He pointed out that he and Luchasaurus had previously taken down the Andersons a few months back, to which Arn confirmed that they hadn't forgotten. Brock charged into the ring, and the match was officially underway. ## TNT Championship: Luchasaurus (c) Vs Brock Anderson ## Riccaboni, on commentary, informed us that Tony Khan had approved this as a TNT Title bout, in response to Christian's willingness to take on Anderson's open challenge for the night. Luchasaurus asserted control over Anderson prior to the commercial break. Returning from the pause, Anderson managed a modest resurgence before Luchasaurus countered with a decisive chokeslam. Luchasaurus sealed the deal with a rabbit lariat to successfully retain his championship. ## WINNER: Luchasaurus ## Powerhouse Hobbs Speaks ## In the ring, Tony Schiavone introduced Powerhouse Hobbs. Hobbs mentioned a recent opportunity that emerged for a significant match at All Out in Chicago. He acknowledged feeling a bit distracted lately, leading him to return home and delve into what he termed the Book of Hobbs. This next chapter, titled "Redemption," became his focus. To redeem himself after losing the TNT Title and coming up short in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, Hobbs declared his intention to challenge The Redeemer. He then called out Miro for a confrontation. ## Miro emerged, but found himself ambushed by Nick Comoroto & Aaron Solo, who were associated with QT Marshall. Miro efficiently handled them, only to be caught off-guard by a main event spinebuster from Hobbs. As Hobbs departed the scene, he left the Book of Hobbs placed on Miro's prone form. ## The Dynamite card for the upcoming Wednesday was outlined, featuring Orange Cassidy vs. Wheeler Yuta for the AEW International Championship, along with the official confirmation of The Gunns facing off against The Young Bucks. Additionally, the next week's Collision lineup was revealed, featuring Darby Allin vs. Christian Cage and a match between Diamante and Willow Nightingale. ## AEW World Trios Title Match: The House Of Black (Brody King, Buddy Matthews & Malakai Black) (w/Julia Hart) (c) Vs CMFTR (Cash Wheeler, CM Punk & Dax Harwood) ## Jim Ross joined the commentary team for this main event. Punk made his entrance to the usual mixed reaction. Early on, Punk and FTR gained the upper hand with swift moves against Matthews. King joined the action after holding onto Matthews during an Irish Whip and making a tag. The crowd cheered for King as he went on the offensive against Harwood, who countered with a low dropkick. The challengers teamed up to target King, eventually double dropkicking him out of the ring.## Malachi Black tagged in to face Punk, leading to a strong reaction from the crowd. Black sent FTR off the apron but encountered a Go To Sleep attempt. Black managed to evade it and aimed for Black Mass, yet Punk cleverly ducked and assumed a cross-legged sitting position. Black mirrored the pose before a chaotic Pier Six brawl erupted, prompting a commercial break.## Upon returning from the break, Matthews executed a rope-assisted DDT on Harwood. The House of Black maintained control by isolating Harwood. However, Harwood turned the tables with a DDT on Black. Punk entered the ring, launching a fierce assault on Matthews with a rising knee strike, followed by high kicks to both Black and Matthews. Punk delivered a Rainmaker to Matthews before ascending the ropes for an elbow drop. Julia Hart diverted the referee's attention, allowing Black to catch Punk on the top rope. King tagged in, delivering a cannonball before another commercial break.## Upon resuming, the House of Black continued isolating Punk. Punk caught Matthews by surprise with a sudden GTS before tagging in Wheeler. Wheeler took charge against King and Black, with Harwood's assistance leading to all three champions being sent outside the ring. Wheeler executed an impressive dive to the floor, followed by a top-rope bulldog on King, narrowly missing a pinfall.## King overpowered FTR, executing a double suplex. Harwood managed to interrupt King as he climbed the ropes. FTR executed a double superplex, followed by Punk's elbow drop for a close nearfall. Employing a trio's Shatter Machine, they targeted King. In came Matthews and Black, sparking a multi-person brawl that left everyone down. Punk executed a dive onto Matthews outside the ring, but Samoa Joe intervened, dragging Punk into the crowd and choking him out. ## Hart created a distraction, allowing King to land a discus lariat on Harwood, securing the victory. ## WINNER: The House Of Black (Brody King, Buddy Matthews & Malakai Black) (w/Julia Hart) ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk For More Wrestling News...

Chris Jericho makes his entrance. Every member of the JAS, including a pregnant Tay Conti, is in the ring. However, their gathering is immediately interrupted by Daniel Garcia. He's visibly displeased with what transpired last week. Garcia asserts that if Jericho didn't choose them, then they won't choose Jericho either, and he walks away. ## Jake Hager grabs the microphone and reminds Jericho that he has other options. Hager expresses his discontent with Jericho and exits the scene. ## A somber Ocho takes the mic, commending Ana JAS and Tay Conti. Tay, however, is disappointed with the current state of the JAS and decides to quit. Ana appears equally disheartened and follows suit, leaving the ring together. ## Angelo and Matt step forward and take the microphone. Angelo announces his resignation from the JAS and departs. Menard, while speaking positively about Jericho, is clearly devastated. He confesses that it never sat well with him that his longtime associates now hold a grudge against Jericho, and he walks away in sorrow. ## Sammy Guevara intervenes, slapping the microphone out of Jericho's hand. He expresses his reluctance to abandon Jericho entirely, hinting that perhaps he was too quick to judge the situation with the Ocho. Sammy advises Jericho to sort out the ongoing issues and then leaves. ## In the backstage area, Don Callis approaches Jericho. Callis informs Le Champion that he will receive Callis' answer next week. ## The Young Bucks vs. Matt & Jeff Hardy ## In the early moments, the Hardys took command, employing effective double-team tactics that sent Nick tumbling to the outside. They followed up with a dual wheelbarrow suplex on Matt, securing a near fall. A sit-out powerbomb in the corner set the stage for a tandem cover on Matt, surprisingly counted by Rick Knox, but the count was broken by Nick. Attempting a Poetry in Motion, the Hardys were thwarted as Matt evaded, and Nick caught Jeff with a corner enzuigiri. After tagging in, Nick unleashed a flurry of offense, including a slingshot face buster and a moonsault to the outside, culminating in Matt Hardy being struck by the Risky Business. Matt feigned a dive, with Nick executing a twisting plancha to take out both Hardys just before the commercial break. ## Action persisted during the break, as Nick managed to dodge a Twist of Fate. However, Matt Hardy adjusted and drove Nick into the mat with a DDT. Just as Jeff was nearing a tag, Matt Jackson intervened by yanking his leg, briefly isolating the Bucks' opponent before a double clothesline prompted a reset. The two Matts engaged in a slugfest, culminating in Jackson colliding head-on with a Side Effect. Simultaneous tags followed, with Jeff unleashing his offense, including a low leg drop and a snappy dropkick. Jeff pushed back both Bucks, executing a Whisper in the Wind that took them out, only for Nick and Matt to counter a double Twist of Fate into superkicks, subsequently landing a 3-D on Jeff. Evading the Meltzer Driver, the Hardys turned the tide with dual Twist of Fates. Jeff then soared with a Swanton on Nick, narrowly receiving a two-count that Matt broke. ## After this whirlwind of action, Matt Hardy legally tagged in, leading to multiple Twist of Fates on Nick. However, Matt skillfully superkicked Jeff's leg as he attempted another Whisper in the Wind. In a swift sequence, Matt Jackson engaged in a backslide on Matt Hardy, swiftly transitioning into the BTE Trigger, sealing the victory for the Young Bucks. ## WINNER: The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson w/Brandon Cutler) ## Following the match, The Bucks stood ready to respond to FTR's challenge from Collision. The AEW Tag Team Champions made their entrance, leading to a tense stare-down between the two teams. Nick then declared "All In," confirming their acceptance of the challenge, while FTR proudly displayed their titles. ## Footage of Hikaru Shida's recent Women's Title victory played, with Excalibur informing us that the title would be defended at All In in a Four-Way match. The participants were revealed: Toni Storm, who was exercising her rematch clause; the victor of Saraya vs. Skye Blue on Rampage; the winner of The Bunny vs. Britt Baker on Dynamite the following week; and the triumphant contender from tonight's Women's Title match between Shida and Anna Jay. ## In a segment from last week, Adam Cole and MJF were seen celebrating their main event announcement for All In, enjoying a visit to a trampoline park. Cole expressed his excitement, but MJF appeared less enthused until they discovered the prospect of dodgeball. MJF embraced the dodgeball game with gusto, enthusiastically hurling balls at children and peppering them with his trademark insults. Amidst the hilarity, a little girl confidently approached, branded them as losers, and promptly flipped them off, leaving a trail of knocked-down kids in her wake. Cole granted MJF one more throw, leading to a gleeful MJF launching the ball just before the commercial break. This segment was an absolute delight, evoking comparisons to Adam Sandler's antics in Billy Madison. ## Backstage, the crew from Blackpool Combat Club wanted to make sure that the Best Friends got the message loud and clear following the intense Parking Lot Brawl on Rampage. Moxley even mentioned how they hoped that Trent's mom, Sue, received the flowers they sent her. ## For tonight, they're ready to capitalize on their victory and take advantage of any opportunities that come their way. They also didn't hold back from talking some smack about PAC, noting that it's a shame he won't be present at All In. The Blackpool Combat Club made it clear that they don't fear death; in fact, they believe that death should be the one afraid of them. ## Jack Perry Vs Rob Van Dam in a FTW Rules Match For FTW Title ## In the FTW Rules match, where pretty much anything goes and falls count anywhere, Perry, sporting some fresh new gear, made his move during RVD's introduction. However, RVD swiftly turned the tables, countering with a leg trap roll-up that almost sealed the deal with a quick two-count. Perry decided to retreat and extend a hand for a handshake, but RVD wasn't having any of it. RVD was gearing up for his signature Rolling Thunder move when Perry wisely exited the ring, avoiding the impending attack.## Outside the ring, RVD laid Perry across the barricade and executed a punishing spinning legdrop off the apron, leaving Perry worse for wear as the show headed into a commercial break.## As the action resumed, Perry managed to seize control, but his fortunes took a turn when he missed a chance to execute his own Rolling Thunder move. An opportunistic moment unfolded as a chair got stuck in the corner, and a table was set up on the outside floor. RVD capitalized by delivering an impressive monkey flip and a running dropkick while wielding a chair in the corner.## With Perry positioned on a chair, RVD unleashed his Rolling Thunder move, but Perry managed to elude RVD's split-legged moonsault. Perry cleverly dodged the Van Daminator move and tossed a chair directly at referee Bryce, temporarily sending him out of commission. Perry used this distraction to his advantage, cutting off RVD in the corner.## However, Perry's momentum took an abrupt halt when RVD propelled him off the top rope and through a waiting table on the outside. Rolling Perry back into the ring, RVD executed his signature Five Star Frog Splash, seemingly securing a pin. Yet, to RVD's dismay, the referee was incapacitated and unable to make the count.## Referee Aubrey then hurried into the ring to officiate the match. RVD managed a near fall, but a dispute over the count ensued. This opening allowed Perry to seize the moment, delivering a low blow to RVD and smashing him into a chair placed in the corner. This maneuver set the stage for Perry to roll up RVD in a schoolboy pin, ultimately securing the victory. ## WINNER: Jack Perry ## MJF & Adam Cole make a Zero Hour challenge ## MJF greeted the Midwest fans with open arms, asserting that prior footage depicting him as dismissive of their region had been craftily edited. He insisted that, in truth, he holds the Midwest in high regard and it's actually his favorite spot in the whole of the U.S. ## Cole chimed in, reminiscing about making history at All In, and confidently declared that he'll clinch victory over MJF for the AEW title. MJF swiftly fired back, playfully suggesting a promo face-off. He poked fun at Cole's slim frame and fair complexion, humorously implying that Hogan might not have taken him seriously back in the 80s. ## But before MJF could continue his verbal barrage, Cole intervened, expressing his disinterest in a promo contest. MJF quickly realized he had misread the situation and refrained. ## Cole shifted the conversation, reflecting on the shared hope that both he and MJF would emerge as AEW Tag Team titleholders. However, Cole disclosed his aspiration for a different pair of tag titles – the ROH Tag Titles. He highlighted his deep-rooted connection with Ring of Honor and the titles he'd secured, except for the elusive tag team championship. Cole suggested a challenge for the ROH Tag Titles at Zero Hour, ahead of All In, aiming to add more gold to their collections. ## MJF playfully chided Cole, labeling him a "sick pervert" for entertaining the notion of wrestling twice in one evening. With a dash of camaraderie, MJF and the fans rallied together, officially putting forth a challenge to Aussie Open for the ROH Tag Titles at All In Zero Hour. ## The situation took a twist as Roderick Strong stormed onto the scene, vociferously objecting to Cole's plan to partner with MJF for the ROH Tag Titles. Strong expressed his disappointment, feeling slighted that Cole didn't consider him, a bona fide ROH legend, as his tag partner. ## In response, MJF ridiculed Strong, suggesting he retreat to his abode, drown his sorrows while listening to Taylor Swift, and shake off his grievances like an uninspired soul. A further complication arose when Matt Taven and Mike Bennett joined the fray, embracing Strong. MJF remarked on Cole's choice of company, leading to a minor confrontation. ## To settle the tension, MJF and Cole reconciled, sharing a hug. MJF then urged Cole to check on Strong, and the incident concluded with a nod of understanding. ## Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli Vs The Lucha Bros (Penta el Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix w/Alex Abrahantes) ## Fenix and Penta sneaked up from behind and took down Moxley and Castagnoli with double dives right when the bell rang. Penta nailed a top rope double stomp on Castagnoli, and Fenix's dive on Moxley was no surprise, causing Moxley to bleed. Penta tried his "Made in Penta" move, but Castagnoli kicked out at two. Castagnoli dodged a double superkick, making the Lucha Bros collide. Moxley tagged in and hit a double DDT, taking down both opponents. Penta countered a Death Rider with a Sling Blade, and Castagnoli used referee Aubrey as cover, letting Yuta hit Fenix with the ROH Title. A press slam into a cutter isolated Fenix while the commercial break rolled. ## Coming back, Fenix ate a spike piledriver that Taz said messed up his own neck once. In a Doomsday Device-like position, Moxley missed a clothesline, and Fenix countered with a roll-up double stomp on Castagnoli. Penta got fiery after the hot tag, dishing out a cazadora face buster on Moxley and a backstabber on Castagnoli. Fenix got tagged in, and chaos ensued before Moxley planted Penta with a cutter, and Fenix swiftly countered with a superkick before everyone hit the mat. Fenix and Castagnoli exchanged strikes, leading to Fenix's comeback spin kick, and Penta leapt off the top only to be nailed by an uppercut in mid-air. ## Penta and Moxley exchanged chops, going at it before Penta nailed a double team stalling piledriver. Yuta grabbed Fenix's leg right in front of the ref, and Abrahantes started jawing with Yuta. However, Yuta got hit with a moonsault. Penta went for the Fear Factor, but Castagnoli tore off Penta's mask. This distraction allowed Moxley to get a roll-up, grabbing the tights for the win. ## WINNER: Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli ## After the match, The BCC continued their attack, with Castagnoli putting on Penta's mask during the assault. Moxley yelled that zero respect was what they were showing. ## -Kenny Omega was seen backstage walking, and Alex Marvez caught up with him. Marvez mentioned The Young Bucks challenging FTR at All In. Omega mentioned that he would be having a sit-down chat with Jim Ross next week to discuss his future, Don Callis, Konosuke Takeshita, and his plans for All In. Marvez tried to get a juicy detail, but he came up empty-handed. ## The whole Mogul Embassy crew made their entrance to the ring, led by Prince Nana, who talked some trash about the crowd. Swerve Strickland grabbed the mic and shared how he, Fox, and Nana had a point to prove after attending the Buddy Wayne Academy. He made it clear whose territory they were in. Fox wasted no time and called out Darby Allin, who appeared and demanded Fox spill the entire story about how Allin tried to support him in times of need. Fox made it to AEW on his own, but he was unhappy that Allin didn't put in a good word for him, instead favoring Nick Wayne. Although Fox had some new buddies, Allin had his own crew. ## The arena went dark, and when the lights came back on, Sting was standing in the ring, swinging a bat and taking down The Gates of Agony and Brian Cage. AR Fox wisely backed away, leaving Sting facing off against Strickland. Sting pointed up at the All In sign, while Strickland was pulled out of harm's way by Nana. Sting and Allin remained standing tall in the ring. A challenge was thrown down for a Coffin Match in London, and we found out that Tony Khan had made it official: Sting and Allin would face Strickland and Fox. ## AEW Women’s Title Match: Hikaru Shida Vs Anna Jay (w/Matt Menard & Angelo Parker) ## During the match, Excalibur brought up how Jay's debut in AEW back in 2020 was against Shida. A jumping knee from Jay caught Shida off guard early on, followed by ten corner punches. Jay managed to wriggle free and was pushed over the top rope to the outside, where Menard & Parker didn't waste time to taunt her. Jay dominated throughout the entire commercial break, but Shida came back with a running elbow as soon as they returned to the action. ## Jay rolled onto the apron, and Shida tried to suplex her back in, but Jay surprised her with a spin kick instead. Both women battled on the apron, and Shida landed a pump kick before grabbing a chair from beneath the ring. Shida set the chair up, seemingly for a launching point, but Parker intervened and distracted Shida, allowing Jay to slam her into the ring steps. Back inside the ring, Jay scored a two-count before applying a Queen Slayer submission. Shida managed to climb to the second rope with Jay still on her back and fell backward to break free from the hold. Shida executed a Falcon Arrow, but Jay kicked out. Shida followed up with the Kitana knee strike, and the referee counted to three for the win, despite Parker awkwardly trying to slide in and break up the pin. ## WINNER: Hikaru Shida ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk For More Wrestling News...

WWE Limits Match Time On PLE Shows, Causing Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus To Be Moved

Limerick, 3 August 2023 - Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus were initially scheduled to face off at Summerslam, but unfortunately, the match won't be taking place as planned. The reasons given for the change were rather underwhelming. ## According to Fightful Select, a "good reason," hints at a possible physical concern. However, upon investigation, the report states that both women were in good health and available for the event. The actual reason behind the match's postponement became clear during the post-WWE Raw show. WWE management has been insistent on limiting the number of matches and the duration of Pay-Per-View shows. ## Consequently, some matches that were initially slated for Summerslam were relocated to other events. In the case of Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus, it was decided that the match's time would have been severely restricted on Summerslam, prompting the decision to move it to a future episode of Raw. There was also consideration given to shifting it to WWE Payback instead. ## It appears that both Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus were dissatisfied with this adjustment, and their displeasure became apparent in the days leading up to the Raw match setup. It's unfortunate that the much-anticipated showdown between these two future WWE Hall Of Famers was affected by WWE's strict event scheduling policies. ## Earlier, it was observed that backstage in WWE, there are some discontented individuals concerning the treatment of the women's division. It appears that this issue has become the catalyst for tension, and both parties are dissatisfied with how the situation is growing. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk For More Wrestling News...

A Major Match Being Discussed For AEW All In

AEW All In is abuzz with talks of a momentous match that includes a notable star from New Japan Pro Wrestling. ## According to reliable information from Fightful Select, it has been confirmed that the IWGP United States Champion, Will Ospreay, is being considered for a wrestling spectacle in his homeland of England at AEW All In. However, the planned match won't be a rematch with Kenny Omega, as some might have speculated. ## Sources from NJPW have revealed that the proposed plan, communicated to them in July, involves Ospreay going head-to-head with the legendary former AEW, WCW, ROH, and WWE World Champion, Chris Jericho. Intriguingly, Don Callis is also part of the equation, though it remains uncertain which side he will align himself with. Over the past few weeks, Callis has been enticing Chris Jericho on AEW Dynamite, while he also accompanied Ospreay at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event. ## When Is AEW ALL In 2023/Location/Details The 2023 edition of All In is set to make history as it becomes the first event produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The original All In was independently held in September 2018, several months before AEW's establishment in January 2019. Now, AEW is gearing up to present this momentous occasion on August 27, 2023, at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London, England. This landmark event will mark AEW's highly-anticipated debut in the United Kingdom and their very first show held outside of North America. Moreover, it will be the company's inaugural event to take place entirely in an association football stadium. ## Notably, AEW's choice of Wembley Stadium adds another layer of significance to the event. The upcoming All In will be the first professional wrestling spectacle held at the present-day Wembley Stadium, carrying a special distinction as the first such event at the venue in over 30 years. The last time a wrestling event graced Wembley Stadium was WWE's memorable SummerSlam in 1992, which took place at the original Wembley Stadium. ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

AEW Updates List Of Banned Moves, But Tony Khan Says It's 'Not a Big Deal'

During a brief appearance on The Dan Le Batard Show on Tuesday, Tony Khan, the head of AEW, played down the significance of the recent modifications regarding the permitted and restricted moves in his company. ## One of the show's co-hosts inquired whether these changes were implemented to reduce injuries that hindered Khan's ability to arrange desired matches and if he aimed to create a safer environment within the company. ## "Yes, I want to have a great pro wrestling company, a hard-hitting pro wrestling company. Those aren't really crazy changes. It's nothing that's going to change the show. It's really more guidelines for the referees as much as anything else. It's good stuff for the wrestlers to know," he said. ## In the previous week, news emerged that the company had revised their internal roster of prohibited maneuvers and those necessitating prior authorization. ## Khan approximated that approximately "20%" of the matches he desired to organize had experienced delays or alterations owing to injuries. Throughout the interview, Khan expressed satisfaction with the progress of AEW Collision, stating that it has been a resounding success. He also acknowledged that the comeback of CM Punk has proven highly fruitful for the company. ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

Warner Bros Discovery Sets Top 5 Ranking Target For AEW Collision

Warner Bros Discovery's approach to considering the success of AEW Collision, the new television program from AEW, has been revealed in a recent report. Since its debut more than a month ago, Collision's viewership ratings have experienced fluctuations due to increased competition in the television industry. ## According to Fightful Select, Warner Bros Discovery is placing greater importance on the ranking of Collision rather than solely focusing on the total number of viewers. AEW's flagship program, Dynamite, has consistently performed well on Wednesday nights, and Warner Bros Discovery expects Collision to follow suit. The company values Collision's relative position among other shows airing in the same time slot. ## Sources familiar with the situation have indicated that Warner Bros Discovery foresees a potential decline in Collision's ratings during the fall season when college football programming returns. In such a scenario, the company hopes that Collision will secure a place within the Top 5 rankings, demonstrating its ability to compete against other popular television offerings. ## Warner Bros Discovery aims to evaluate the comparative success of AEW Collision amidst fierce competition. This approach takes into consideration external factors such as shifts in seasonal programming, which can impact viewership numbers across various television networks. Warner Bros Discovery's emphasis on rankings provides a standard for assessing Collision's performance and determining its position in the television landscape. ## As AEW continues to expand its presence in the wrestling industry and attract a broader audience, the success of Collision will play a crucial role in establishing the promotion's position in the highly competitive television market. ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.
