Tony Khan Reveals WWE Tampering Allegations Were Made While His Mother Was In the Hospital

Tony Khan has recently escalated his feud with WWE by making some strongly worded accusations. It's been a week since he posted a series of tweets taking jabs at WWE. ## Surprisingly, a number of individuals within AEW expressed astonishment that Tony Khan's tweet, in which he claimed that Undertaker/John Cena's match drew fewer than a million viewers, was publicly shared. ## There wasn't any significant concern or internal issues regarding the tweet. Most of the reactions on social media fell into one of two camps: some believed Khan shouldn't have tweeted it at all, while others thought he was simply having fun with a situation that didn't favor AEW. ## In a recent post that Tony Khan himself shared this Friday, he alleged that WWE attempted to interfere with the contracts of AEW stars. Khan accused WWE of trying to break these contracts while his mother was undergoing treatment at the Mayo Clinic. ## This weekend marks 1 year since @MayoClinic saved my mom’s life. During her ordeal many AEW talent came to me alleging WWE tampering, inducing them to break their contracts. I’ll never forget these phone calls at her side in the hospital; it’s when business became personal for me. ## Not that I should be surprised, but the same WWE avatar accounts that spam me every day, no matter what I say or what it's about, now turning their wrath to Mom recovering from a near death experience, is why I straight hate these people to the bottom of my heart with all my soul.## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

WWE NXT Beats AEW Dynamite In Total Viewership This Week

New York, 5 October - On October 4, 2023, the episode of AEW Dynamite featured the WWE veteran Adam Copland, known as Edge, making his debut on the show. While Edge's appearance was a significant moment for AEW, the episode's ratings left much to be desired, as it marked the lowest viewership since May. ## According to data from Wrestlenomics, the October 4 episode of AEW Dynamite attracted 800,000 viewers, a decrease from the previous Wednesday's episode, which had garnered 855,000 viewers. In terms of the crucial demographic, the show drew 1,000 viewers, a decline from the previous week, resulting in the lowest rating since June 28 when the rating stood at 0.24. ## Furthermore, the October 4 episode earned a 0.28 rating in the 18 to 40 demographic, which was consistent with the rating from the September 27 episode. Overall, this episode disappointed AEW as it represented the lowest total viewership since May 3. ## In contrast, this week's edition of NXT, which aired on Tuesday, surpassed AEW Dynamite in terms of total viewership. AEW Dynamite, which aired on TBS, attracted 800,000 viewers and achieved a rating of 0.28 in the P18-49 demographic. However, Dynamite still outperformed NXT in this key demographic. ## It's worth mentioning that AEW will be going head-to-head with NXT this coming Tuesday, which raises significant concerns for AEW's future viewership. Surprisingly, this week's edition of NXT didn't even include many top main roster stars, yet they managed to outperform AEW Dynamite. ## Looking ahead to the next week, NXT has an impressive lineup of major stars from the company, such as John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Asuka, Paul Heyman, and more. This stacked roster has the potential to further challenge AEW's viewership and ratings. ##
