San Francisco, 10 October - Former WWE star Adam Copeland, known as Edge, had his much-anticipated AEW in-ring debut.

During the October 10th episode of AEW Dynamite, which notably aired on a Tuesday in direct competition with WWE NXT, Copeland squared off against Luchasaurus in his inaugural AEW match.

Christian Cage and Nick Wayne were initially at ringside during the match, seemingly poised to provide a distraction for Copeland. However, they were instructed to leave the ringside area, affording Copeland the opportunity to deliver a decisive spear to Luchasaurus, securing a victory.

Copeland originally made his AEW debut at WrestleDream on October 1, 2023, when he came to the aid of Sting and Darby Allin, preventing an attack by Christian Cage, Luchasaurus, and Nick Wayne. He is now a full-time signee with AEW.

Copeland's most recent WWE match took place on the August 18th episode of WWE SmackDown, where he triumphed over Edge in what stands as his final WWE bout to date.
