The UFC was expected to return to the city in March 2020 at UFC Fight Night: Woodley vs. Edwards, but the event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. ## The event was previously scheduled to be headlined by a bantamweight fight between Jack Shore and Umar Nurmagomedov. However, Nurmagomedov was removed from the bout due to undisclosed reasons and replaced by Timur Valiev. ## A Heavyweight contender's match between Alexander Volkov and Tom Aspinall is now set to headline the main event. ## Former Bellator heavyweight champion Alexander Volkov (34-9 MMA, 8-3 UFC), faced Marcin Tybura on October 30, 2021, at UFC 267.
