Roman Reigns Loses His 734-Day Undefeated Streak At Royal Rumble

At Royal Rumble “Freakin” Rollins used some crafty mind games to send The Head of the Table over the edge and force him to take a disqualification loss in an extremely personal battle. ## Well, Roman Reigns retained the title due to a DQ into the match, but this would break his impressive run of 734 days undefeated streak on WWE premium live events. ## Just before losing to Rollins at Royal Rumble, Reigns had been undefeated since the 2020 Royal Rumble, when Drew McIntyre last eliminated him to score the victory in the Royal Rumble match. ## However, Reigns is still undefeated at some points. Reigns still has not been pinned or submitted on a WWE premium live event since King Corbin defeated him at TLC 2019. ## Reigns recently lost via disqualification to King Woods on the November 12 episode of SmackDown. There have been a few discussions regarding a possible showdown at WrestleMania 38. ## As noted, On January 29, 2022, at the Royal Rumble, Rousey returned to WWE as she entered as #28 in the Women's Royal Rumble match and won by last eliminating Charlotte Flair, earning a championship match at WrestleMania 38. ## The WWE Universe burst when Ronda Rousey made her return to a WWE ring for the first time in nearly three years. Back in the days, it was reported that Charlotte Flair would be eliminated by somehow, leading a SmackDown Women's Championship showdown at WrestleMania. ## Now, a new report has confirmed the news that Rousey will be a SmackDown Superstar for the most part, but she is scheduled for both shows, beginning with Monday’s RAW. It’s also been reported that she will face Flair at WrestleMania 38 and that her current contract is good for at least until WrestleMania 39. ## Fightful Select is reporting that WWE has been after Rousey to confirm her return plans since shortly after she gave birth to her daughter back in September. ## While Rousey vs. Flair is the blue brand plan for WrestleMania 38, the word from within WWE is that Bianca Belair vs. RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will also take place. Ronda Rousey is being discussed for a big WrestleMania 38 match. ## In an update, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE has discussed Rousey vs. RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch for WrestleMania 38. ## Rousey's return to WWE is around, positionally at Saturday's Royal Rumble event. It was previously reported that WWE had been pushing to get Rousey for this year’s Royal Rumble premium live event. ## The Report stated that WWE officials met with Rousey last week in California. Rousey’s makeup artist and stylist when she last worked for WWE, Abraham Esparza, is slated to be at the PPV and RAW this coming week and she has been locked in for weeks and weeks. ## She made her first appearance at the 2018 Royal Rumble. She debuted at WrestleMania 34 and later won the Raw Women's Championship, her first WWE and professional wrestling title, at SummerSlam. ## Rousey has not wrestled since she took time off from WWE after WrestleMania in April 2019. List Of Rumored Names Going Around For The WWE Royal Rumble

Several interesting names are reportedly returning to the ring at the WWE Royal Rumble on Saturday. As the trend goes around, the 2022 Royal Rumble is said to be featuring a couple of "surprise appearances" for both men's and Women's matches. ## As is tradition, the event will feature a men's and women's Royal Rumble match, with both matches each featuring special guest entrants. She currently wrestles for Impact Wrestling and the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). ## Perez joined WWE in 2004 and was assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), WWE's developmental territory, where she began managing Johnny Nitro and Joey Mercury, dubbed MNM, to three reigns as WWE Tag Team Champions, as well as Nitro to two reigns as WWE Intercontinental Champion. ## Perez is a three-time WWE Women's Champion and a two-time WWE Divas Champion. After winning her second WWE Divas Championship, Perez became the first woman in WWE history to be champion multiple times with both the Women's and Divas titles. ## Her last appearance in WWE would come On the August 1 episode of Raw, where Melina participated in a #1 contender's battle royal, which was won by Beth Phoenix. I definitely think we’re going to kick WrestleMania season off the right way. It’s always going to be me and Roman. It’s always going to come down to me and Roman. ## “In many ways, we are the biggest two stars in WWE in this generation and I think fans have been clamouring for this match – especially where both of us are at in our career paths – and we didn’t think we were going to get it. But now, here we are and I’m looking forward to the electricity of the Rumble. ## “Stars aligned or misaligned, I don’t know! Depends how you look at it. I was on SmackDown on the rise for a long time and Roman was beating tons of guys over there.
