later, it was announced that Carmelo Hayes will defend his NXT North American Championship against Cameron Grimes at Vengeance Day.

The 2022 NXT Vengeance Day is set to take place on February 15, 2022, at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida for their NXT brand division.
