According to PW Insider, Ezekiel is no longer listed internally on the WWE roster and the character was replaced with Elias last week. ## Per the report, The character was replaced last week with his original persona, Ezekiel’s “older brother” Elias. It would appear that, as many of you have suspected, that when the time comes, the Elias character will be returning to the Raw roster while Ezekiel, who was written out due to “injuries”, will fade into the darkness. ## Following his absence from WWE for a long time, Elias, now under the new ring name "Ezekiel", returned to WWE television as a face, debuting a look consisting of a clean-shaven face, shorter hair, and trunks, claiming that he was the younger brother of Elias. ## In the following weeks on Raw, Ezekiel entered a feud with Kevin Owens, who refused to believe Ezekiel was really Elias's brother, and thought he was actually Elias himself. At Hell in a Cell, Ezekiel lost to Owens. ## Ezekiel was involved in a storyline injury during a previous episode of Monday Night Raw. There is already a ton of media in town for the Canelo-GGG trilogy fight, Per Fightful Select. ## WWE looks to be building to a Roman Reigns vs. Paul match. If that does happen, November's Crown Jewel pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia appears to be a possible destination. Neither Reigns nor Paul are advertised for October's Extreme Rules PPV. ## On The September 16th edition of SmackDown, Paul appeared on WWE television since he defeated The Miz at SummerSlam. PWInsider reported that Kai, SKY and Bayley are part of SmackDown's creative plans. ## As of writing the show hasn't been so much filled up with the card.
