Kartik Aaryan Team Up With Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor For An Epic War Drama Film; Release Date Locked

Mumbai, November 22 - Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has teamed up with producer Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor for an epic war drama film, to be directed by "The Night Manager" fame Sandeep Modi. This is the first collaboration between Kartik and Karan who were previously supposed to join hands for "Dostana 2". ## It is said that Kartik was regularly visiting the Dharma Productions office in the last couple of months which led to speculations about the maiden venture. Now, on the occasion of Kartik's 33rd birthday today, the yet-untitled movie has officially been confirmed by the studio with a confirmed release date of 15 August 2025. ## The film celebrates the Indian Army and is set against a backdrop not explored to date. Aseem Arora has written the script and the shoot for the same will commence in the second half of 2024. It will be produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shobha Kapoor, and Ektaa R. Box Office: Salman Khan's 'Tiger 3' To Fall Short of 300 Crores Net Collection Mark

Mumbai, November 21 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's spy action thriller Tiger 3 is heading towards finishing a little under 300 crores net box office mark in India. The movie had another drop of around 10-15% today which is a normal drop during the weekdays. ## Directed by Maneesh Sharma, "Tiger 3" reached around 244 crores net in all versions in the first 10 days. The film will have one more week to have a free run before "Animal" and "Sam Bahadur" arrive on December 1st to make life difficult for it. ## The third instalment in the Tiger franchise practically has 10 days left to collect as much as it can but still, the film is highly unlikely to top 300 crores net box office mark, a benchmark which was looking like a cakewalk before the release of the film. ## With the current trend and considering no real challenge before December 1st, "Tiger 3" is looking to finish around 280-290 crores net collection, which is no way a small number but surely underwhelming for a franchise like "Tiger" which is a part of YRF's Spy Universe, the biggest action franchise. ## "Tiger 3" will end up as a successful venture but Yash Raj Films will surely consider it a missed opportunity to have another solid blockbuster after "Pathaan". Vikas Bahl's directorial film was touted to be a never-before-seen before sci-fi thriller but the audiences didn't turn to see it in theatres. ## Produced by Pooja Entertainment, "Ganapath" was released on October 20 during the Dussehra weekend but its fate was almost sealed after it opened to a disaster number of 2.50 crores net. The Maneesh Sharma-directorial movie scored the 4th highest first seven days cumulative collection for a Bollywood movie. ## "Tiger 3" scored an estimated 17 crores net collection in all versions on its first Saturday (7th day) which takes its total collection to around 217 crores in 7 days. In Hindi, the movie scored an estimated 16-17 crores, making it the 6th biggest first 7 days cumulative collection scorer. ## With a collection of approximately 212+ crores in 7 days, "Tiger 3" has become the 34th film ever to enter the 200 crores net box office club in Hindi. Mumbai, November 12 - Salman Khan-fronted "Tiger 3" destroyed the Diwali day records at the domestic box office by a huge margin and looks to set one of the biggest openings for a Bollywood movie ever.## The movie has the disadvantage of the Laxmi Pooja which affected the evening and night collection but despite that "Tiger 3" scored around 42 crores net in Hindi, as per the early estimate. The final opening day collection can go up to 43-44 crores, depending on the night shows but 42 crores looks to be locked. The all-India opening (including Tamil and Telugu) is estimated to be around 44-45 crores. ## The opening makes "Tiger 3" the biggest starter for Salman Khan, beating "Bharat" which scored 42.30 crores net in 2019. Mumbai, November 11 - The wait is about to end for Salman Khan-fronted hugely-awaited spy action thriller Tiger 3 which is releasing tomorrow (November 12). The Maneesh Sharma's directorial is the fifth film in Yash Raj Films' Spy Universe and the third in the Tiger franchise. ## "Tiger 3" will have one of the biggest releases ever for Indian movies. The keenly-awaited movie will be released on 8900 screens worldwide, including 5500 screens in India and 3400 screens internationally. It is the biggest release in the Spy Universe, ahead of "Pathaan" which was released on 7700 screens worldwide. ## Produced by Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films, "Tiger 3" is a rare movie to release on Sunday, that too on Diwali day. The advance booking of the movie was opened a week before and it got a good response, considering the Diwali day release which normally is a weaker day for the box office than the usual Diwali holiday. ## As of 8 PM on November 11, "Tiger 3" scored approx. 20 crores gross with 7.60 lakh tickets sold for the opening day. The pre-sales have witnessed a very good turnaround on the last day before the release and the final advance booking is expected to be around 23 crores with over 8.50 lakh tickets. ## The pre-sales booking trend of "Tiger 3" has been better than "Gadar 2" which opened at 40.10 crores net.
