Mumbai, November 14 - The year 2023 has been great for Bollywood which witnessed multiple films doing excellent numbers at the box office and even went on to score above expectations. Right from Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" in January to Salman Khan's "Tiger 3" in November, the box office continues to have a dream outcome.

This has been the year when Bollywood films breached the 60 crores net, 70 crores net and 80 crores net mark on a single day on multiple occasions and opened up whole new box office territories for the movies to conquer. In just Hindi language, "Jawan" breached the 70 crore mark once and the 60 crore mark twice while in all versions, the film went past the 70 crore mark thrice and 80 crore mark once.



Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" also managed to breach the 70 crores net mark (in all versions) once while in Hindi, it did manage to go past the 60 crores mark once. So far, only SRK has opened the 60 crores net mark single-day club while Sunny Deol, who made a roaring comeback this year with "Gadar 2" and Salman Khan with "Tiger 3" joined King Khan in the 50 crores net single-day net club.

1. Jawan - 71.23 crores (4th day)



2. Jawan - 68.72 crores (3rd day)

3. Pathaan - 68 crores (2nd day)

4. Jawan - 65.50 crores (1st day)



5. Pathaan - 58.50 crores (5th day)

6. Tiger 3 - 58 crores (2nd day)

7. Gadar 2 - 55.40 crores (5th day)

8. Pathaan - 55 crores (1st day)

9. KGF: Chapter 2 - 53.95 crores (1st day)

10. Gadar 2 - 51.70 crores (3rd day)

Bollywood movies have also been able to spread their wings in the South Indian markets, especially Shah Rukh Khan who has had success in Tamil and Telugu languages with "Jawan" and "Pathaan". Earlier, Ranbir Kapoor's "Brahmastra" also did well in Telugu languages.
