Superstar Prabhas Compensate Distributors For The Loss Accrued Due To 'Radhe Shyam'

Hyderabad, April 8 - Pan India star Prabhas has reportedly compensated the distributors for their loss accrued due to the disastrous box office performance of "Radhe Shyam". ## Prabhas is one of the biggest names in Indian cinema and easily the most bankable star in the country. However, the actor's recently released period romantic drama film, "Radhe Shyam" failed to meet box office expectations which caused huge losses to the distributors. ## Known for his kindness, Prabhas reportedly took the initiative of compensating the investors and returned part of his remuneration to them. Made on a budget of around 300 crores, "Radhe Shyam" could only generate approx. 160 crores worldwide and was declared a disaster at the box office. ## The post-theatrical streaming rights of this Radha Krishna Kumar-directed were sold to Amazon Prime Video. The producers fetched a whopping amount of Rs 200 crores just from the satellite and digital rights which helped them to recover the cost. It was made available on Prime Video only after 21 days of theatrical release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Box Office: RRR Scored The 10th Biggest Second Week In Hindi

Mumbai, April 8 - The fictional friendship saga between two real-life Indian freedom fighters in the 1920s, "RRR" is going great guns at the box office, bringing joy among the audiences and exhibitors. The movie has completed two weeks at the box office and it has scored approx. 975 crores gross worldwide. ## The SS Rajamouli-directed period action drama film will become only the 3rd Indian movie to gross 1000 crores worldwide and the target will be archived by the 3rd Saturday. At the domestic box office, "RRR" has grossed approx. 790 crores in two weeks, including 245 crores in the dubbed Hindi version. ## The Hindi version of the film was always going to be very important for the makers as it involved high stakes. The movie has also delivered big time and emerged as a super hit by collection 208.59 crores net in two weeks. In the second week, "RRR" minted 76 crores, dropping just 42.70% from the opening week of 132.59 crores.## Talking about the all-time highest second week grossing Hindi movies, the Jr. NTR/Ram Charan-fronted epic takes the 10th spot on the list, dethroning "Padmaavat" (69.5 Cr.) from the position. Hyderabad, April 7 - "RRR" has had a fantastic second week at the domestic box office. The SS Rajamouli-directed has crossed 670 crores net in India, after scoring approx. 197 crores for all languages in the second week. It scored an estimated 10 crores on the second Thursday, taking the total collection to 673 crores. In Hindi, the movie scored approx. 76 crores net in week 2 after an estimated 5 crores on its 14th day. The total net collection now stands at 208.50 crores. Ram Charan Gives Perfect Reply To A Reporter Over A Comment About Overshadowing Jr. NTR In RRR Movie

Mumbai, April 7 - With a blockbuster box office success behind their back, team RRR is in a well-deserved celebratory mood. The movie is nearing the 1000 crores worldwide gross mark, which will make it only the 3rd Indian movie of all time to achieve the feat.## On April 6, Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios threw a success party for the RRR team in Mumbai and it was also attended by Aamir Khan, Javed Akhtar, and Karan Johar, Jitendra, among other top Bollywood personalities. Hyderabad, April 6 - "RRR" has crossed to 200 crores net mark at the Hindi box office and becomes only the second film in the post-pandemic times to achieve the feat. "RRR" was always seen to go big at the box office in Hindi and it has done no different so far. Box Office: RRR (Hindi) Second Saturday Early Estimates

Mumbai, April 2 - The "RRR" roared again and roared like a King Lion on the second Saturday at the box office. The SS Rajamouli-directed period action drama epic scored an estimated 18-19 crores on its 9th day at the Hindi box office, jumping approx. 30% from the second Friday. It lends in the top 10 highest second Saturday of all-time in Hindi. The Jr. NTR/Ram Charan-fronted movie is strong at all centers. Maharashtra, Gujrat, and Delhi are large contributors but the movie remains solid in the other states too. As compared to the first Friday, "RRR" witnesses a drop of just about 12-13% on day 9 as per estimates. While the occupancy remains strong, the shows on the 2nd Saturday have been reduced because of the new release, "Attack". However, the reduction of shows hasn't impacted the movie much. Prabhas To Become A Superhero For Hollywood's Universal Studios?

Hyderabad, April 2 - There is something big is happening around superstar Prabhas regarding his Hollywood launch. While the "Baahubali" actor has already become one of the most bankable actors in the country, there are talks that he may soon sign up for a Hollywood project. ## According to Telugu360, Prabhas has initiated talks with one of the top Hollywood production houses Universal Studios. The report states that two rounds of discussions have already been completed and that further development will take place in due time. ## Universal Pictures has been behind some of the highest-grossing films of all time, and the Telugu360 report says that it is very keen to lock Prabhas for the franchise of an Asian superhero film. Mumbai, April 2 - Superstar Prabhas will be headlining some of the biggest Indian movies in the next 2 to 3 years. He became a nationwide sensation after the success of "The Baahubali" franchise in Hindi and later he tested the success with "Saaho" in the biggest Indian movie market. ## Prabhas's recently released "Radhe Shyam", however, couldn't do well at the box office and was declared a disaster. The actor is now gearing up for his next, titled "Adipurush", which is possibly the biggest film of his career. Prabhas called "Adipurush" more than just a film and sentimentally a very important project for his life. ## "Adipurush sentimentally is a very important project for my life. Om Raut, luckily I have a very good director. It is not just a film, it is something very important and everyone will be having a look at it. I was really frightened of it and is very important for me. It is something else I feel", Prabhas said to IANS. ## Even though "Radhe Shyam" didn't do well, Prabhas is still one of the biggest crowd-pullers in the country. When asked if Box Office numbers do matter to him, the actor said that it is important for him to see how many people liked his movies which can only be known through box office numbers. ## "Yes. I can't get every 'Baahubali' as a film. But the budget and the people's acceptance are very important. The box office can be told like that. It does not mean I break records. SS Rajamouli's 'RRR' Crosses 500 Crores Nett At The Domestic Box Office

Mumbai, April 2 - Telugu superstars, Jr. NTR and Ram Charan, joined forces with blockbuster machine SS Rajamouli and delivered yet another Pan-India box office hit in the form of "RRR". The period action drama fiction, set in 1920, has crossed the 500 crores net mark at the domestic box office in just 8 days. ## The box office success of "RRR" was somehow already assured keeping Rajamouli's devoted fanbase across the country but reaching the 500 crores mark in near record-breaking days, is something very very special. It has become only the Indian movie after Rajamouli's own "Baahubali 2" to reach the landmark box office figure. ## With the support of highly positive word of mouth, the original Telugu version is driving the biz of "RRR" and crossed the 300 crores net (311 cr.) mark in 8 days, followed by the all-important dubbed Hindi version with 145 crores.
