SS Rajamouli To Shoot A Promotional Song On Friendship Anthem For RRR Movie

Hyderabad, July 21, 2021: SS Rajamouli's period action drama, RRR, is the most anticipated Indian film. The master filmmaker has promised to provide the best theatrical experience one can ever feel. The primary shooting of the film has been wrapped up and only a song or two is left for the complete wrap on the filming. ## Meanwhile, Rajamouli is currently shooting for a promotional song, for which, a big set has been erected for Rs. 6.5 crores. Since the movie is based on a friendship set in the 1920s, the promotional song is said to be a friendship anthem. The song is reportedly being filming on Jr NTR and Ram Charan's friendship in the movie. As per reports, Prabhas and Rana Daggubati will also appear in the all-male song. ## RRR is a fictional story about two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Jr. NTR), who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively. The movie also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in prominant roles along with Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, and Alison Doody. ## The story of the film is written by Rajamouli's father K. V. Vijayendra Prasad while the screenplay is penned by Rajamouli himself. It is produced by D. V. V. Danayya under the banners of DVV Entertainments. While a few films have already opted for direct-to-digital release, the movies such as Love Story, Tuck Jagadish, Most Eligible Bachelor, Seetimaar, among others gearing up for a theatrical release. ## Recently, Satyadev's Thimmarasu was announced for the July 30th release in theaters, becoming the first theatrical release announcement post the second covid-19 wave. Now, as per the latest development, Nani's "Tuck Jagadish" will be the first big-ticket Telugu movie to hit screens. The makers have reportadly finalized the July 30 release on a record number of screens. ## Tuck Jagadish, directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi, is an action-masala film. Telangana Film Chamber Requests To Telugu Producers To Stop OTT Releases Until October

Hyderabad, July 3, 2021: Telangana film chamber of commerce has expressed concern over Telugu producers opting for the direct-to-digital release of their films amid the covid-19 pandemic. As per reports, one of the leading production houses of Telugu industry, Suresh Productions is reportadly considering its most-awaited films like Narappa, Virata Parvam, among others for direct OTT release. ## Raising concern over the latest development in the Telugu industry, the Telangana film chamber has requested the producers to stop the OTT release of their films until October. The film chamber is hopeful that theaters will be fully operational by October this year. The film chamber has warned them for a future course of action if producers continue to release their films on OTT. ## However, the chamber headed by Hon. Secretary Sunil Narang, said that "If the theaters do not open by October, you can consider OTT release". This decision has been taken keeping the larger interest of the entire Telugu Film industry, which has been hit hard by the covid-19 pandemic. ## The film chamber also appealed to the Andhra Pradesh Government to immediately make a decision about ticket rates. "The survival of theaters is at stake with such low rates. Theaters will close and many will lose employment". Dhanush To Collaborate With Telugu Director Venky Atluri For Another Trilingual Film!

Hyderabad, June 28, 2021: A few days after announcing his Telugu debut with Sekhar Kammula's trilingual movie, Dhanush seems to be getting more interested to work with Telugu directors. The national award-winning actor has reportadly signed his second Telugu movie with Tholi Prema director Venky Atluri. ## According to Deccan Chronicle, producer Suryadevara Nagavamsi has been planning to make a trilingual film for a long time and he has found this potential in Dhanush. Nagavamsi feels a trilingual film would do justice to the script, given Dhanush's popularity in the South and in Bollywood. ## It is said that Dhanush has agreed to work on the Atluri film. It will be Karnan actor's second back-to-back trilingual movie, to be made simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, after Sekhar Kammula's film. He already has a Hindi film, Atrangi Re, in the pipeline that is expected to release soon. ## Meanwhile, producer Nagavamsi is already working on the Bollywood remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramloo with Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, and co-producing the Jersey remake, which stars Shahid Kapoor. Suresh Productions' one of the most-anticipated films, Narappa, starring Venkatesh is expected to hit big screens in the first batch of releases followed by Virata Parvam and others. Venkatesh's other film, Drushyam 2 which is an official remake of the Malayalam film Drishyam 2, has almost been confirmed for direct-to-digital release on Amazon Prime Video.
