Kartikeya Gummakonda Next With Director Sri Saripalli, Titled Raja Vikramarka; First Look Unveiled
Hyderabad, June 20, 2021: Actor Kartikeya Gummakonda has collaborated with debutant director Sri Saripalli for his next film, which has been titled "Raja Vikramarka". Tanya Ravichandran, who marks her Telugu debut with this film, has been cast to play the female lead opposite Kartikeya.
Raja Vikramarka is an action thriller film in which Kartikeya is playing the role of an NIA officer. The makers of the film recently announced the news through a video in which the "RX 100" actor can be seen wielding a gun fitted with a silencer.
The film is produced by 88 Rama Reddy under Sree Chitra Movie Makers banner and will be presented by Adi Reddy. Sudhakar Komakula, Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Pasupathi, Harshavardhan, Surya, Gemini Suresh, and Jabardasth Naveen are also part of the cast.
Kartikeya, on Sunday (June 20), took to social media and revealed the title of the film. He also unveiled the first look in which he can be seen laying down on a chair looking up.
Kartikeya's last film was Chaavu Kaburu Challaga, which co-starred Lavanya Tripathi as the female lead. The movie was released on 19 March 2021 in theaters and opened with mixed responses.
Going forward, apart from Raja Vikramarka, Kartikeya Gummakonda will also be seen in Ajith Kumar's long-awaited, Valimai. It marks Kartikeya's Tamil debut under the direction of H. Vinoth.
