Reason Behind Director Sundar C's Exit From Superstar Rajinikanth's Thalaivar 173 Revealed
Chennai, November 14 - In a major development, director Sundar C has exited the upcoming mega project Thalaivar 173, starring superstar Rajinikanth and produced by Kamal Haasan. The filmmaker issued a statement yesterday, stating that due to some reasons, he won't be doing the film any more. Sundar C's exit from the film sparked discussion on social media and within the industry. Many people linked it to political reasons, while others brought up different reasons. According to Valaipechu, creative differences over the film’s script appear to be the primary reason behind the sudden shake-up. It is said that Sundar C initially narrated the outline of a horror-based subject to Rajinikanth, who approved the concept at its early stage. Following this, the filmmaker proceeded to develop the full-fledged script. However, once the final version was presented, Rajinikanth was reportedly not satisfied with the output and conveyed the same to the director. With the project no longer moving forward in its current form, Sundar C is said to have decided to drop out of Thalaivar 173. However, as per the report, it is said that the director allegedly issued a public press release about his exit without informing either Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan, both of whom are central forces behind the film. The unexpected move has reportedly caused confusion among fans and insiders, especially given the high-profile nature of the project and the rare collaboration of two of Tamil cinema's biggest icons. Neither Rajinikanth nor Kamal Haasan has spoken about the development yet. Stay tuned...
