Ajay Devgn Joins Hands With Dil Raju For Hindi Remake of Telugu Blockbuster Naandhi

Mumbai, June 25, 2021: Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn has joined with producer Dil Raju for the first time to produce the Hindi remake of the 2021 Telugu blockbuster movie, Naandhi. Naandhi is a crime courtroom drama film, directed by Vijay Kanakamedala. It was released on 19 February this year. ## "Naandhi" follows the life of Surya Prakash (Allari Naresh), an under-trial prisoner who is falsely accused of murder, awaiting judgment. The movie received critical reception and was also a commercially blockbuster. Apart from Allari Naresh, the movie also stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in a lead role while Priyadarshi, Harish Uthaman, Vinay Varma, and Praveen play supporting roles. ## The Hindi remake will be produced by Ajay Devgn, Dil Raju, Kuldeep Rathore, and Parag Desai. Kiara Advani On Board For RC15 And Anniyan Hindi Remake?

Mumbai, June 24, 2021: Actress Kiara Advani is one of the busiest actresses at the moment. The Kabir Singh actress has been doing some of the fantastic films off late. Currently, she has four films in the pipeline. While her Shershaah with Sidharth Malhorta is completed, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Jug Jugg Jeeyo, and Mr. Lele are under production. ## Now, it is learnt that Kiara has been roped in to play the female lead in Ram Charan's next Pan India film with director Shankar Shanmugam. According to Pinkvilla, Kiara has signed a multi-film deal with Shankar including RC15 and Anniyan Hindi remake starring Ranveer Singh. ## It is said that Kiara will be a part of both - RC15 and Anniyan remake. It will be the second time when Kiara will share screen space with Ram Charan while Anniyan Hindi remake will mark her first movie with Ranveer Singh. The character details and shoot schedules have been kept under wraps, however, the Shankar film Ranveer Singh will go on floors sometime next year, only once the work on RC 15 is concluded. ## Apart from these two films, the actress might also star in Shankar's 3rd film. However, the report suggests that it's not known if that too will be helmed by Shankar or just produced by him. While the first two will happen in a quick span, the third one might take some time to roll out. ## Meanwhile, according to reports, RC15 will be a historical drama film. It will be Ram Charan's first movie after the period action film, RRR that is scheduled to release worldwide on October 13 this year. RC15 will also have a grand pan India release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. It will be produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the production banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. ## On the other hand, Ranveer's film is the official Hindi adaptation of Shankar's own directorial 2005 Tamil psychological action thriller, "Anniyan" starring Chiyaan Vikram. Mumbai, June 24, 2021: Bollywood star, Kangana Ranaut is all set to direct his second after Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, which she co-directed with Krish. The actress had recently announced that she is collaborating with writer-director Sai Kabir for a political drama that revolves around former India Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. ## However, for a change, she has now decided to direct the film herself along with starring in the film in the role of Indira Gandhi. She took to microblogging app, Koo, and said that no one can direct the film, which is titled Emergency, better than her after working on the film for more than a year. ## "Pleased to wear director's hat again, after working on Emergency for more than a year I finally figured no one can direct it better than me. Collaborating with fabulous writer Ritesh Shah, even if it means sacrificing on various acting assignments I am determined to do it, my excitement is high. Hyderabad Shooters Contemplating Legal Action Against Makers Of Amazon Prime Video Film 'Sherni' For Projecting Them 'Trigger-Happy Shooters'

Mumbai, June 24, 2021: Vidya Balan starrer thriller film, "Sherni", invites fresh controversy. The movie, which released on June 18 directly on Amazon Prime Video, deals with the subjects like human-wildlife conflict and wildlife conservation. It shows how human greed is destroying wildlife. ## While the movie deals with the sensitive subject of wildlife, the makers of the film have been alleged for "twisting of facts" relating to the killing of tigress Avni. A Hyderabad shooter Asghar Ali Khan, who shot dead tigress Avni in Maharashtra's Yavatmal in 2018, is contemplating legal action against the makers of the film. "We are consulting the legal advisers. We have not yet taken a final call," Asghar Ali Khan told IANS on Wednesday. #### He has accused the makers of the film of presenting a completely different story regarding the killing of tigress Avni. Asghar Ali Khan, who is the son of well-known shooter Nawab Sahafath Ali Khan, alleged that the movie projected them as "trigger-happy shooters". "We had gone there at the invitation of the government and killed the man-eater tigress which had mauled to death 14 persons but we were projected as if we were hunting for fun", he said. ## He argued that the way the makers presented them in the film, could damage their reputation and add "fuel to the fire" to the sensitive matter which is already subjudice. Abundantia Entertainment Pvt Ltd, one of the producers of the film, however, clarified that "Sherni" is a creative work of fiction and will not hamper "any supposed ongoing investigation" or damage Asghar Ali or his father's reputation. ## Asghar Ali, however, is not satisfied with this. "If there is one similarity between what was shown in the movie and what happened in Avni's case, it can be called coincidence but there are so many similarities. There was a lady officer in the real operation, there is a lady officer (Vidya Balan) in the movie. There are other similarities like two cubs of the tigress and the use of urine of another tiger to attract the tigress", he said.## Sherni is directed by Amit V. Masurkar and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, and Amit V. Masurkar under the banners of T-Series, and Abundantia Entertainment. Mumbai, June 16, 2021: Filmmaker and the president of the Indian Film & Television Directors' Association (IFTDA) on Wednesday (June 16) took to social media and demanded an FIR against Bollywood actress, Swara Bhaskar for "inciting communal violence". ## Ashoke Pandit's reaction came after Swara's tweeted on a viral video in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad, in which a man was thrashed and his beard was chopped off. "RW & Sanghis vomiting on my timeline 'coz Ghaziabad police named 3 Muslims. Jackasses the prime accused is literally a Pravesh Gujjar. The man is on camera forcing the old man to chant #JaiShriRam Yes it is a desecration of my God and my religion and I’m ashamed.. as shud you be", Swara tweeted. ## However, according to the Ghaziabad police, there is no communal angle in the incident. The FIR, registered against the accused, informed that Ghaziabad police have arrested the three accused who had trashed the elderly victim. ## Ghaziabad Police on Tuesday also filed FIR against nine entities, who without checking the fact, started giving communal colour to the incident on Twitter and caught spreading messages to disrupt the peace and bring differences between the religious communities.
