Mumbai, June 4 - Samrat Prithviraj had an overall low opening day collection considering the size of the film as the film collected 10.70 crores net box office collections. The double-digit start was looking like a dream when the film started in the morning due to very negligible collections but as the day progressed, The collections started bettering at most centers and as a result, The final collection just hit the double-digit mark. The first-day collection of Samrat Prithiviraj is the third-best of 2022 in outright Hindi language films after Bhool Bhulaiya 2 and Bachchhan Paandey. The film needs to show a huge growth today and tomorrow to put a good first-weekend collection. The film is driven by the single screen audiences of Rajasthan, Central India, and Bihar but even these centers are not at the optimum levels. The multiplex business of the film has been shockingly low and that needs to pick up for any chance of success at the box office. Box Office: Samrat Prithviraj Opening Day Early Estimates; Set For A Double-Digit Start

Mumbai, June 3 - Samrat Prithviraj, starring Akshay Kumar in a titular role was one of the most awaited films of this year. Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, Samrat Prithiviraj is produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The magnum opus has been released on over 5000 screens worldwide and around 3800 screens in India making it one of the biggest releases of Akshay Kumar's career. The film was expected to take a flying start but that could not happen as the trailer and promos could not create much anticipation and further even music proved to be a damp squib. The early estimates collections are heading for a double-digit start in the range of 10-11 crores net. This is a good first-day number for a mid-sized film but not at all for a mega-budgeted film like Samrat Prithviraj. The opening in all the major cities is bad. The opening will be less than the last Akshay Kumar film Bachchan Pandey which collected 13.25 crores net box on the first day against an opponent like The Kashmir Files. The positive thing is that B and C tier centers have seen good footfalls but when the film is so humongous in stature like Samrat Prithiviraj then the center-wise business cannot help the film as it needs universal business across the board. The film needs to show huge growth over Saturday and Sunday to score respectable first weekend collections. Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' With Director Atlee To Have A Pan India Release On June 2, 2023

Mumbai, June 3 - Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has teamed up with Tamil director Atlee for the first time for an action thriller, titled "Jawan". Amid a lot of speculation, the makers revealed the title teaser on June 3rd and also confirmed the release date. ## Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter and shared the title teaser. He also confirmed that the movie will have a Pan-India release on June 2, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. It will be SRK's first Pan-India release. ## ## "Jawan" is produced by Shah Rukh Khan's own production house Red Chillies Entertainment. The shooting for the same is currently in progress. While the makers haven't announced the rest of the cast, South Indian actress, Nayanthara is reportedly playing the female lead in her Hindi debut. Box Office: Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Tops 200 Crores Worldwide; First For Kartik Aaryan

The movie scored an excellent second week at the domestic box office, minting Rs. 49.7 crores net. This takes the total net collection of "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2" to Rs. 141.75 crores net in just two weeks. ## Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani, "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2" has grossed approx. 35 crores at the overseas box office. It has also become Kartik Aaryan's first 200 crores worldwide grosser after it scored Rs. 202 crores through the second Thursday. The movie beat "Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety" (Rs. 156.46cr) to become the biggest hit of Kartik's career. ## "Bhool Bhulaiya 2" is the sequel to 2006's classic hit starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in the leading roles. Tips Announces Sequel To 2003's Hit 'Ishq Vishk', Titled 'Ishq Vishk Rebound'

Mumbai, June 2 - Last year, it was reported that the sequel to Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao's 2003 coming-of-age romcom "Ishq Vishk" is in the development at Tips Films studio. On Thursday (June 2), Tips officially confirmed the sequel, titled "Ishq Vishk Rebound" and shoot for the same has already commenced. ## "Ishq Vishk", directed by Ken Ghosh, marked Shahid Kapoor's acting debut and it made him an overnight star. Shahid pairing with Amrita Rao was much loved and appreciated after which the duo went on to do three more movies together, including the blockbuster "Vivah". ## "Ishq Vishk Rebound", which is being directed by Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari, stars a fresh ensemble cast, Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Jibraan Khan, and Naila Grewal in prominent roles. Shah Rukh Khan's Film With Director Atlee Gets A Title And Tentative Release Date

Mumbai, June 1 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been shooting for Tamil director Atlee and this marks their first collaboration. While the movie had already commenced filming last year, the makers haven't announced the film officially.## According to the latest reports, SRK's film with Atlee will officially be announced in the next couple of days with a title teaser. The movie has reportedly been titled "Jawaan". According to Bollywood Hungama, "after discussing and considering at-least 25 titles, Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee have decided to title their next as Jawan".## The report further stated that the makers will release a teaser of 1 minute 34 seconds and it will showcase King Khan in his massiest avatar to date and the fans will be blown away by this minute and a half glimpse. ## Apart from SRK, the movie also stars Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Sunil Grover among many others in prominent roles.
