Varun Dhawan Pens An Emotional Note As He Officially Joins Sunny Deol In War Epic 'Border 2'
Mumbai, August 23 - The sequel to the iconic blockbuster, Border is in development and it is already one of the most anticipated Indian movies in the making. Border 2 was officially announced recently with Sunny Deol returning to reprise his role from the first film.## On Friday (August 23), the makers officially confirmed actor Varun Dhawan on board to headline this war epic with Sunny Deol. Upon the announcement, Varun took to social media to pen an emotional note as he remembered watching Border (1997) when he was in class four. ## "I was just a kid in class four when I went to Chandan cinema and saw Border. And it made such a big impact. I still remember the sense of national pride we all felt in the hall when we saw JP sir's Border. To play a part in Border 2 produced by J P sir and Bhushan Kumar is a very, very special moment in my career. And I get to work with Sunny Paaji so that makes it all the more special. I look forward to bringing a valiant jawaan's story to the screen in what promises to be India's biggest war film", the actor wrote while sharing the announcement video.## Border 2 will be directed by Anurag Singh whose last directorial was Akshay Kumar-fronted Kesari (2019).
