Mumbai, August 3 - Director Mohit Suri's romantic action thriller, Ek Villain Returns, has had a very good hold on the first Tuesday at the domestic box office, grossing approx. 2.70 crores net (-10%). The total net collection of the film now stands at 29.30 crores after 5 days. The movie should be able to finish the opening week at around 34 crores, which is a decent collection under current circumstances for a film like EVR. Meanwhile, the John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani, and Tara Sutaria-starrer film will reach the 50 crores gross mark at the worldwide box office in the opening week itself.## The move so far has grossed 45.10 crores gross in five days, including approx. 10.50 crores at the overseas box office. At the UK box office, it has grossed 1.54 crores (£160K) so far and turns out to be a big success out there. Box Office: Vikrant Rona And Ek Villain Returns Witness Big Drop On First Monday

Bengaluru, August 2 - Kichcha Sudeepa's action-adventure film, Vikrant Rona, has had a huge drop on the first Monday, after recording a very good 4-days opening weekend at the domestic box office. The Anup Bhandari-directed film did score approx. 4.7 crores gross (4 cr. net) for all languages, including 2.60 crores gross in Karnataka state. It will reach the 50 crores mark in the state today. The drop on the first Monday was expected, but makers surely haven't thought it would be over 70% drop from Sunday. The film needs to hold on to the range of Monday's collection to have a good opening week. Meanwhile, the Hindi version of the film is putting on a decent show, despite the massive drop. It scored approx. 70 lakh on Monday, pushing the total net collection for the dubbed Hindi version to over 6.60 crores in 5 days. Overall, the movie has so far scored 57.70 crores net (68.2 cr. gross) so far domestically. Meanwhile, the Bollywood movie, Ek Villain Returns, too faced the heat of the first Monday and witnessed a drop of over 66% for 3.02 crores net. The total net collection now stands at 26.56 crores in 4 days. The Mohit Suri-directed film is reasonably doing well in mass centers while metro cities remain dull. The movie would have liked a drop under 50% which obviously did not happen. The first week is likely to finish with 32 crores (+/-). EVR showed a better trend in the opening weekend than most recent Bollywood movies. It will love to carry the same momentum in the second weekend as well as there is no new film releasing this coming Friday. Mumbai, July 31 - Ek Villain Returns is heading towards a good day at the box office as the early estimates suggest approx. 8.40 crores net collection which is a good single-day number for a mid-sized film. There is some growth in the mass pockets due to the holiday factor, especially in the tier2 single screens. The major multiplexes continue to disappoint as the footfalls are very low in these premium areas. It would have been a great result if the film had touched the double-digits. Overall, the film scored a near 23cr net box office collection in the first weekend which again is not a big number or even good but considering the situation at the box office and the fate of big event films, the weekend can be called a decent weekend. The collections on Monday are going to be important for Ek Villain Returns. Box Office: Ek Villain Returns First Saturday Early Estimates

Mumbai, July 30 - Ek Villain Returns which did well on the first with 7.05 crores net, is showing some growth on Saturday which is a good thing for both film and the industry. The growth is not huge or anywhere close to it but there is some upward trend in many multiplexes and that is enough in the circumstances that the industry is in today. As per the early estimates, the first Saturday collections should be around 7.5 crores net. This will take the first two days' collections to a little over the 14.50cr net mark which is less than the opening day collections of the first part of this film that was released way back in 2014. The Sunday is set for further growth but the growth is unlikely to be huge, hopefully, some mass centers should record good footfalls to ensure a good weekend at the box office compared to the last few weekends. The first weekend collections would be around 25cr (+/-) which is a decent result for not so popular star cast film.
