Box Office: 'Brahmastra' Beats 'Bajirao Mastani' To Become 10th Highest-Grossing Indian Film In The US

Los Angeles, September 18 - Ranbir Kapoor-fronted Brahmastra Part One: Shiva has become the 10th highest-grossing Indian film at the USA box office. ## The Ayan Mukerji-directed fantasy action adventure film scored an estimated $1.1 million in its second weekend which takes its total collection to $6.8 million in the USA. The drop in the second weekend is huge but that couldn't stop the movie to outscore "Bajirao Mastani" ($6.6M) to become the 10th biggest movie there. ## Aamir Khan-fronted "Dangal" is the highest-grossing Bollywood movie in the USA with approx. $13 million while "Baahubali 2" is the biggest Indian grosser there with approx. $22 million.## Meanwhile, the biggest Bollywood movie ever, "Brahmastra" has crossed 200 crores net at the domestic box office for all languages. It scored an estimated 16 crores on its second Sunday, which pushes the total net cume to over 215 crores after 10 days. Worldwide, it grossed approx. 350 crores, making it the highest-grossing Bollywood movie post-pandemic.## Produced by Dharma Productions, Starlight Pictures, and Prime Focus in association with Star Studios, the movie stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni along with Shah Rukh Khan in key roles.## Stay tuned...

Brahmastra Second Sunday Early Estimates

Mumbai, September 18 - Brahmastra is heading towards another huge day at the box office as the early estimates suggest a 16-17 crores net collection which is a huge second Sunday, especially for a film that has not been appreciated universally.## The growth is there on Sunday but it should have even more considering the film has seen an outstanding surge in collections on the second Saturday but just like the first weekend when the film had a huge growth on Saturday and the growth on Sunday was limited. This is happening because Brahmastra is catering to the multiplex audience and multiplexes witness their best days on Saturdays.## The second Sunday collections will take the total collections of Brahmastra to around 216cr net mark in all versions. The film is heading for a 250cr plus final total which will make it the highest-grossing Hindi film of the year surpassing the business of The Kashmir Files. Brahmastra dubbed version which started on a bumper note is having an average collection now but it is sure to be the highest any Hindi film has ever collected.## Stay tuned...

Sunny Deol, Dulquer Salman's 'Chup' To Have Special Free Preview Shows For Fans In Multiple Cities

Mumbai, September 18 - Undoubtedly Dulquer Salman is one of the best talented young actors in India. Currently, he is enjoying the success of his previous film "Sita Ramam" which became a phenomenal hit in India and overseas. Box Office: Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra' Becomes The Highest-Grossing Bollywood Movie of 2022

Mumbai, September 18 - Director Ayan Mukerji's fantasy action adventure feature, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is all set to topple Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files to become the highest-grossing Bollywood movie during the entire covid-19 pandemic. ## The big screen entertainer takes just 10 days, including the second Sunday, to outshine TKF's lifetime worldwide total of 341 crores gross. TKF, however, will most probably remain the biggest blockbuster of 2022 knowing the fact that it generated massive profit for the makers against a very low budget of the movie. ## Nonetheless, "Brahmastra" has emerged as a hit at the box office despite the mixed reviews from critics. The movie is having a very good second weekend with an estimated 43-45 crores net. This will take the entire 10 days net collection to approx. 217 crores while the gross collection will be at 255 crores.## Including an estimated 95 crores from overseas markets, "Brahmastra's" total worldwide collection is looking to score around 350 crores after the second weekend (10 days). ## "Brahmastra" may go down to become the highest-grossing Bollywood movie of 2022 unless "Vikram Vedha", "Ram Setu" and "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan" do something miraculous. ## It is not that the upcoming movie can't have a blockbuster run at the box office. Akshay Kumar's "Ram Setu" particularly has the potential to do wonders if it gets positive reviews. VV and KKBKKJ too can surprise but it will be an uphill task for all three movies to topple "Brahmastra" which is not done yet and very much on track to finish over 400 crores worldwide. ## Stay tuned...

Brahmastra Part One: Shiva Gives A New Ray of Hope To The Hindi Film Industry

Mumbai, September 17 - Brahmastra is running riots at the box office. The movie is expected to do a solid business of more than 210 crores in the Hindi Market.## As we all are aware Hindi film industry is going through a rough phase post-pandemic. There is a famine of hits. In 2022, only 3 Bollywood movies were able to do good business and these include - The Kashmir Files, Bhool Bhulaiyya 2, and Gangubai Kathiawadi. ## The aforementioned 3 movies, however, struggled to register big numbers on their opening day. Bollywood was struggling for a 15 crore + opener for the last few years, the Last 15 crore + opener and the only one post-pandemic was Sooryavanshi. Under these circumstances what Brahmastra achieved gives rise to a new ray of hope in the industry, securing an opening of more than 30 crores which was last seen back in 2019 by War. ## The solid initials secured by Brahmastra have successfully managed to secure put an end to claims that online boycott campaigns have impacted the theatrical business of movies. Also, the claim claiming that people have now shifted to watching movies in OTT rather than on big screens has been proved wrong. ## The fact that is now clear through Brahmastra is that if a movie is good and manages to create Curiosity and offers big-screen entertainment then it is bound to register huge initial and lifetime figures at the Box office.## Stay tuned...

Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra, And Rakul Preet Singh's 'Thank God' Gets Banned In Kuwait

Mumbai, September 16 - Bollywood fantasy comedy film, Thank God, has been the talk of the town lately after the release of its trailer. The trailer of the movie didn't go well with some people as a UP-based lawyer had filed a legal suit against the makers of the film for hurting religious sentiments. ## Now, according to the latest reports, the movie has been banned in Kuwait over religious grounds. It is said that the movie was not passed by the Censor Board as they have decided to stop the release of the film in the city. ## While there have been no official comments on the exact reason for the ban, it is being speculated that the satirical comedy on religious views in the movie has made the Censor Board take the harsh decision. The film portrays Ajay Devgn as the modern-day Chitragupt, it is a social comedy that showcases him in a funny avatar.## Directed by Indra Kumar, "Thank God" features Sidharth Malhotra, Rakul Preet Singh, and Ajay Devgn in the key roles. Nora Fatehi also plays a cameo in the movie as an 'apsara'. The comedy-drama is slated for release on 25 October. It is produced by T-Series and Maruti International. ## Meanwhile, apart from "Thank God", the Kuwait censor board has green-lit the releases of all other movies including the Dulquer Salmaan, Sunny Deol, and Shreya Dhanwanthary starrer "Chup", Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika Mandanna's "Goodbye", R Madhavan's "Dhoka: Round D Corner", and Tamil movie "Sinam". ## Stay tuned...
