Hyderabad, October 4 - Superstar Jr. NTR is the latest action drama Devara: Part 1 is heading towards a box office success in Hindi after scoring a good first-week collection domestically and worldwide. ## Devara took a better-than-expected opening of 7.50 crores net approx, before showing good gains over the weekend in the dubbed Hindi version. The movie maintained a decent hold on the crucial Monday before the holiday factor boosted the collection again on Tuesday and Wednesday. ## The movie concluded the first week with approximately 44 crore net collection in Hindi, including approximately 2 crore net on Thursday. This is a good collection for a dubbed version and sets up the stage nicely for the movie to finish with a healthy lifetime total.## Apart from Hindi, Devara has performed very well in the original Telugu language scoring approximately 164 crores net (190+ crores gross) while other South Indian versions have grossed approximately 8.50+ crores in the first week. The movie got a huge boost to its collection on Wednesday due to the Gandhi Jayanti national holiday. ## On its 7th day, the first Thursday, Devara is witnessing a drop of over 60% which was expected to some extent. Hyderabad, September 23 - Megastar Chiranjeevi Konidela has set a Guinness World Record and was honoured with the award of the most prolific star in the Indian film industry on Sunday, September 22 in Hyderabad.## The veteran Telugu star set a record for his dance performances with over 537 songs and 24,000 dance moves in 46 years. No other actor in and outside India has achieved this milestone. Hyderabad, September 23 - Power star Pawan Kalyan is set to resume the filming of his long-in-the-making Hari Hara Veera Mallu on September 23rd. Hyderabad, September 19 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's much-awaited action drama Devara: Part 1 has fetched good worldwide pre-release theatrical business. The movie, directed by Koratala Siva, is scheduled to hit the big screens on September 27 in multiple languages. ## Devara marks Jr. NTR's first solo release in 6 years and it has easily scored the highest pre-release business for the actor other than RRR which was a 2-hero tentpole. According to Andhra Box Office, the total worldwide business of the movie has been locked at around 180 crores. ## In Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), the theatrical rights of Devara are valued at approximately 113 crores, including 45 crores in Nizam and 22 crores for Ceded area. Outside AP-TG, the Karnataka business is valued at 15 crores, followed by approximately 16.50 crores in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. ## The makers are expecting Devara to emerge as a big success in the Hindi belt and the business for the same is locked at approximately 15 crores while the overseas theatrical rights are sold at 26 crores. Hyderabad, September 12 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's much-awaited action drama film Devara: Part 1 is set to be another lengthy film with a theatrical runtime of close to 3 hours.
