Box Office: Jr. NTR's 'Devara: Part 1' Scored A Good First Week In Hindi and Worldwide
Hyderabad, October 4 - Superstar Jr. NTR is the latest action drama Devara: Part 1 is heading towards a box office success in Hindi after scoring a good first-week collection domestically and worldwide. ## Devara took a better-than-expected opening of 7.50 crores net approx, before showing good gains over the weekend in the dubbed Hindi version. The movie maintained a decent hold on the crucial Monday before the holiday factor boosted the collection again on Tuesday and Wednesday. ## The movie concluded the first week with approximately 44 crore net collection in Hindi, including approximately 2 crore net on Thursday. This is a good collection for a dubbed version and sets up the stage nicely for the movie to finish with a healthy lifetime total.## Apart from Hindi, Devara has performed very well in the original Telugu language scoring approximately 164 crores net (190+ crores gross) while other South Indian versions have grossed approximately 8.50+ crores in the first week. Overall, the action drama has grossed approximately 255 crores at the Indian box office and is already the second-highest-grossing South Indian movie of 2024 after Kalki 2898 AD in India. ## Overseas, Devara has scored an estimated 69 crores, for the worldwide cume of 324 crores gross in the first week.
