RRR Japan Box Office Collection: Clocks A Good Opening Weekend

Tokyo, October 24 - SS Rajamouli's mega-blockbuster RRR has had a good debut at the Japan box office, grossing approx. ¥65 million (Rs. 3.61 crores) in the opening weekend.## The movie was carrying big anticipation among the Japanese audience and the presence of Rajamaouli along with Jr. NTR and Ram Charan further raised the excitement. It opened at Rs. 1.06 crore which is the biggest for an Indian movie in Japan. ## "RRR" did see some growth on the second day for approx. Rs. 1.33 crores, followed by approx. Rs. 1.22 crores on Sunday. It was released on around 210 locations in the country, which is probably the biggest-ever release for an Indian title. ## The opening weekend total of "RRR" is probably the highest ever in Japan as far as the Indian movie is concerned. As said before, it is looking to finish in the top three Indian movies if not the biggest at the Japanese box office. ## Produced by DVV Entertainment, "RRR" is currently the 4th highest-grossing Indian movie of all time and it will remain in that position as it looks unlikely to beat "KGF: Chapter 2" numbers. Tokyo, October 22 - SS Rajamouli's global blockbuster RRR was released in Japan on October 21, and not so surprisingly, it took the biggest opening for an Indian film over there. As per reports, the movie grossed a solid ¥18 million (Rs. 1.06 crores) on the opening day.## As per the records available, "RRR" took the biggest opening, beating Prabhas-fronted Saaho which grossed approx. 90 lakh on an opening day upon its release in Japan in 2020. Hyderabad, October 8 - Actor Nikhil Siddhartha's mystical action adventure film Karthikeya 2 was a massive hit at the box office, grossing over 117 crores worldwide. The movie was also released in Hindi and grossed approx. 37 crores. It has been one of the biggest blockbusters of the year. ## Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, "Karthikeya 2" was released on the digital platform ZEE5 after 8 weeks of theatrical release on October 5 in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil. Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'NBK107' Release Date Revealed?

Hyderabad, October 8 - Veteran Telugu star Nandamuri Balakrishna scored a super hit with the action thriller film Akhanda in December last year. The movie marked NBK's third film with director Boyapati Srinu and it went on to become the highest-grossing film in Balakrishna's career, grossing over 100 crores at the worldwide box office. ## Nandamuri Balakrishna is now gearing up for his next mass entertainer with director Gopichand Malineni. Tentatively titled NBK107, the movie carrying a lot of buzz since its announcement and it is anticipated to extend Ballaya's box office success run. ## "NBK107" was originally planned for Dussehra 2022 release, however, due to the multiple postponements in the shooting and some changes in the script, the movie couldn't meet the deadline.
