NTR30: Jr. NTR's Much Awaited Actioner With Koratala Siva To Release In April 2024

Hyderabad, January 1 - Superstar Jr. NTR's highly-anticipated action thriller film with director Koratala Siva is all set to kick-start filming from February 2023, the makers announced on the first day of 2023. ## The Pan India film, written and directed by Koratala Siva, has been in pre-production work for a long time and the makers are finally happy with the output of the script. The movie has also been announced to hit theaters on April 5, 2024, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. ## "NTR 30" is produced by NTR Arts, Yuvasudha Arts, and MSK Films. Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is said to be the female lead opposite NTR in the movie. The movie marks the second collaboration of Jr. NTR and Koratala Siva after the blockbuster "Janatha Garage". Power Star Pawan Kalyan's One More Classic Blockbuster 'Tholi Prema' To Re-Release In Theaters

Hyderabad, January 1 - Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan struck the gold in 2022 with his classic blockbuster films. The actor's "Jalsa" and "Kushi" got re-released in theaters and did really well at the box office despite the limited release. ## Now, according to the latest reports, one more classic blockbuster of Pawan Kalyan is getting ready to hit theaters in February 2023. It is said that A. Producer Dil Raju With Tamil Films To Take On Mythri Movie Makers In Telugu

Hyderabad, December 29 - The Sankranthi 2023 race at the Tamil and Telugu box office is heating up with some of the biggest South Indian superstars coming to take on each other. It will be Thalapathy Vijay's Varisu (12 Jan.) and Ajith Kumar's Thunivu (11 Jan.) at the Tamil box office while megastar Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya (13 Jan.) and Nandamuri Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy (12 Jan.) in Telugu. ## The Telugu box office seems to be more complicated this festival season as the aforementioned Telugu films will be facing tough competition with the above-mentioned Tamil blockbuster. SS Rajamouli Reiterates His Dream Project

Hyderabad, December 29 - SS Rajamouli has taken up a task to make grandeur films that appeal beyond boundaries. The maverick filmmaker's recent films - "Baahubali" films and "RRR" made a huge impact on audiences across the world and made Rajamouli arguably the biggest director in India. ## The blockbuster director has time and again spoken about his dream project which is epic Mahabharta. Top 10 Indian Cities Where Most Number of Movie Tickets Sold On Book My Show In 2022

Mumbai, December 25 - Book My Show, the online movie ticket portal, recently revealed the top 10 movies of 2022 with the highest number of tickets sold on its platform. Yash-fronted "KGF: Chapter 2" has been the most-watched Indian film of 2022 with over 50 million footfalls in theaters. ## Apart from revealing the top 10 movies, Book My Show also revealed which Indian cities witnessed the highest number of footfalls this year. While the portal didn't reveal the number of tickets, it announced that Hyderabad sold the highest number of tickets this year on BMS. ## The Telugu film industry has had great success this year, led by SS Rajamouli's mega-blockbuster "RRR" along with Mahesh Babu's "Sarkaru Vaari Paata", "Bheemla Nayak", "Karthikeya 2", and "Sita Ramam" along with many others. Kannada biggie, "KGF: Chapter 2" also did excellent business in Telugu states. ## The silicon valley of India, Bengaluru was also the top contributor to the Indian film industry as BMS announced it sold the second-highest number of movie tickets in the city in 2022. The Kannada film industry has been the biggest box office contributor this year, thanks to the biggest grosser of the year "KGF 2", along with the surprise monster blockbuster "Kantara", "777 Charlie", and "Vikrant Rona". ## The Hindi film industry wasn't top of its game in 2022 but still, the key contribution from the films like "Brahmastra", "The Kashmir Files", "Drishyam 2", and "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2" along with the huge contribution from the Hindi versions of "KGF 2", "RRR", and "Kantara", Mumbai scored the 3rd highest number of footfalls this year, as per BMS. Mumbai, December 22 - Gujarati-language coming-of-age drama film, Chhello Show (Last Film Show) has been shortlisted in the 'International Feature Film' category at the Oscars 2023. ## The "Last Film Show" was selected as India's official entry for the Academy Awards 2023 over public favorite SS Rajamouli's mega-blockbuster RRR. Directed by Pan Nalin, the movie will now be competing with 14 other films in the international feature film category to grab a place in the top 5 films, which will be announced on January 24.## The 'Naatu Naatu' song from "RRR" has been shortlisted in the original song category, becoming the first-ever Indian song ever to be shortlisted for the Academy Awards. However, the movie received disappointments in other categories. ## "RRR" was submitted in 15 general categories, including Best Film. RRR Becomes The Highest-Grossing Indian Film In Japan, Beats Rajinikanth's 'Muthu'

Tokyo, December 13 - Superstar Rajinikanth's "Muthu's" long-standing box office record has finally been broken as SS Rajamouli's mega-blockbuster RRR has become the highest-grossing Indian film in Japan. ## "RRR", starring Jr. NTR, and Ram Charan has completed its 8th week at the Japan box office and has grossed ¥410 million (Rs. 24.88 crores) with 271K footfalls so far, which is also the highest for an Indian film. It has outdone Rajinikanth's "Muthu's" which had grossed ¥400 million in 1998. ## The SS Rajamouli-directed "RRR" was released in Japan in October this year and scored the biggest opening weekend for an Indian movie there. Though the numbers of "RRR" weren't as high as the makers had predicted it maintain a steady run throughout and finally topped "Muthu's" record to become the new number one Indian grosser in Japan. ## "RRR" is looking to go past ¥500 million and it was originally predicated to have this number. The movie has found appreciation wherever it has been released so far and Japan is the latest market in that list. The worldwide gross total of the movie now stands at approx. 1140 crores, which is the 4th highest for an Indian movie of all time. ## Meanwhile, apart from its box office hunt, "RRR" is also making waves in international awards and has already won multiple awards of them. NTR 30: NTR's Next With Koratala Siva To Start Filming In February 2023

Hyderabad, December 10 - After the blockbuster release of RRR, the fans of Jr. NTR have been waiting for his next film. The superstar teamed up with Koratala Siva for his next, tentatively titled NTR 30, and it was supposed to start production in the summer of 2022.## The pre-production of NTR 30 has been going on for quite some time now, however, the debacle result of Siva's last directorial, "Acharya" made him extra cautious as he wanted to be fully sure with the script of NTR's film before kickstarting the shoot. It was recently when he locked the final script and even started music sitting with Anirudh. ## Now, according to the latest reports, NTR 30 will officially be launched in January while the regular shoot will kickstart in February 2023. Hyderabad, December 10 - Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's Pushpa - The Rule is one of the most anticipated Indian films going forward. Hyderabad, December 6 - With an eye on the Oscars, SS Rajamouli's mega-blockbuster RRR has begun its awards hunt at the international level as the movie continues to spread its magic. ## SS Rajamouli has been honored with the Best Director award at the New York Film Critics Circle (NYFCC). Ram Charan Stresses On Not Doing A Lot of Remakes

Hyderabad, November 30 - Telugu superstar Ram Charan is not keen on doing a lot of remakes as he thinks that due to OTT platforms, the recall value of remakes has dropped. It has been seen in the recent box office performances where except for a couple of movies, remakes have failed badly across languages.## Ram Charan, who is currently shooting for director Shankar's political thriller film, recently produced "Godfather", starring Chiranjeevi. It was the remake of Mohanlal's Malayalam movie "Lucifer". The movie did decent business of little over 100 crores worldwide but that is mainly because of the star power of Chiranjeevi. ## "Godfather" was expected to do very well but because its dubbed version is already available on OTT, the movie couldn't give rich rewards to the makers. Ram Charan said during a recent interview that he is not keen on doing remakes and if he does, he would make sure that the original movie is not available in dubbed versions.## "I'm not sure I'd continue doing a lot of remakes. If I did a remake, I'd probably ask the original's producer not to release it on OTT. I might do a remake under those conditions. Otherwise, we'd all prefer to do original scripts in the future", he said.## Ram Charan, who headlined the multistarrer "RRR" directed by SS Rajamouli, recently confirmed his next film after Shankar's "RC15".
