Hombale Films Officially Re-Confirms Release Date of Prabhas-Fronted 'Salaar'

Bengaluru, May 18 - Social media has been buzzing with the rumor over the last few days that Prabhas-fronted much-awaited action drama film Salaar has been postponed from its September release date. ## The rumour of the film's postponement left fans disappointed, and they can't be blamed as the makers have been tight-lipped in providing genuine updates regarding the progress of the film. Hyderabad, April 27 - Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha Menon's mystic thriller film Virupaksha has turned out to be a slipper hit at the domestic as well as overseas box office within the opening week itself. ## The movie, directed by Karthik Dandu has crossed 50 crores gross (total approx. 53 crores) at the worldwide box office in just 6 days, and now, it has become the first film for Sai Dharam Tej to cross the $1 million mark in the USA. It crossed the $1 million mark on Wednesday, in 6 days+previews. ## Produced by Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra and Sukumar Writings, "Virupaksha" will become the highest-grossing film worldwide for Sai Dharam Tej in the next couple of days. Akhil Akkineni's 'Agent' Scores High Pre-Release Worldwide Theatrical Business

Hyderabad, April 26 - Telugu actor Akhil Akkineni's long-awaited spy action thriller Agent is getting ready to hit the big screen this Friday, April 28. The Pan India movie is directed by Surender Reddy who last directed a movie was Chiranjeevi's "Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy" in 2019. ## A few months back, "Agent" was one of the most-anticipated Telugu movies of the tier 2 heroes, but, the continued delay in the production hit the hype. However, the trailer and the unique promotional activities have brought the movie into the scene again and it is currently carrying a decent buzz among the moviegoers. ## Meanwhile, the makers have locked the worldwide theatrical business, and irrespective of the buzz around the movie, it has managed to close a high business for a non-superstar movie.
