Gal Gadot Gives Major Updates On 'Wonder Woman 3' And Controversial 'Cleopatra' Biopic
Los Angeles, January 7 - While Gal Gadot is gearing up for the big-screen release of the mystery thriller "Death on the Nile", due on 11 Feb. 2022, the actress has her eyes already set on her next biographical drama, "Cleopatra". The movie has been in controversy ever since Gadot was cast as an Israeli actor playing the Ancient Egyptian queen. ## Gal Gadot, however, kept herself focused on the film on the historic icon she "admire so much". In a recent interview with InStyle magazine, Gal Gadot opened up about what people can expect from the film. While she didn't reveal much details but called it the "story the world needs to hear now".## "We're going to show not just how sexy and appealing she (Cleopatra) was, but how strategic and smart, and how much impact she had and still has on the world we're living in today. I've watched all the Cleopatra movies throughout history, but I feel like we're telling the story the world needs to hear now", Gadot said. ## "Cleopatra" biopic was supposed to be directed by Patty Jenkins, however, she back out from the project to focus on the 3rd installment of "Wonder Woman" film with Gal. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier helmer Kari Skogland will now direct the biopic. The shoot of the film is expected to begin sometime this year. ## Meanwhile, Gal Gadot will be returning as Prince Diana/Wonder Woman in the 3rd installment of the franchise. It is easily the most-awaited film of Gadot at the global level. During the interview, Gadot was asked about the film and she revealed that the script of the WW3 is currently in development and the production will commence "in a year and a half or so". ## Stay tuned...
