Bhumi Pednekar Gears Up For A Jam-Packed Year With Half A Dozen Releases
Mumbai, January 27 - Actress Bhumi Pednekar, who was last seen in "Durgamati" in 2020, had not a single release in the following year due to the covid-19 pandemic. The "Bala" actress, however, has the jam-packed year of 2022 with as many as six releases, if all goes per plan. ## To begin with, Bhumi is gearing up for the release of the social dramedy "Badhaai Do". This Harshavardhan Kulkarni-directed serves as a spiritual sequel to the 2018 film "Badhaai Ho". Co-starring Rajkummar Rao, "Badhaai Do" is about a couple in a lavender marriage. Produced by Junglee Pictures, the movie is slated for February 11 release in theaters. ## Apart from "Badhaai Do", Bhumi has five more films lined up to release this year. She has a romantic comedy "Govinda Naam Mera", co-starring Vicky Kaushal, and Kiara Advani, then she has "Raksha Bandhan", which reunites her with Akshay Kumar after their blockbuster "Toilet: Ek Prem Katha". She also has "Ladykiller", "Bheed", and a soon-to-be-announced project. ## Sharing her excitement, Bhumi says, "As we hopefully come out of the pandemic, I can't wait to entertain audiences with six diverse films from as many remarkably different filmmakers who have a very unique voice of their own".## One of the best things about Bhumi's past movies is that they managed to touch the hearts of the audiences and the actress is hoping the same for her upcoming films. "I'm hoping they will love what these films and I have to offer on-screen". ## "I have always given my everything in every film that I have done and these six films have taken every bit of emotion out of me. So, I only wish the best for these films and the producers and the directors who have punted on me to bring their vision to life on-screen", she added. ## Stay tuned...
