Mumbai, May 23 - Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 witnessed a rocking day at the box office on its third day which is Sunday. The film has collected 23.51 crores net box office collections which is an extraordinary number for a mid-sized film. The Sunday collections will take the first weekend collections of Bhool Bhulaiya 2 to 55.96 crores net. This is the highest ever first-weekend collection of Kartik Aryan's career. The collections saw around a 35% jump from Saturday. The film is trending like a superhit film and that will be confirmed on Monday and Tuesday whether the film will be just a hit or a superhit. Anees Bazmee Confirms Developing The Script of 'F2' Remake For Producer Boney Kapoor

Mumbai May 23 - Director Anees Bazmee is one of the top names in the Hindi film industry and has delivered hits like No Entry, Welcome, Sing Is King, and Ready, among others. There is one more film going to find its place on his hit list Kartik Aaryan's "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2". ## The sequel to Priyadarshan's 2007's horror-comedy featuring Akshay Kumar in the lead, "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2" opened last Friday and took the biggest opening for Kartik and went on to register a blockbuster weekend with Rs 55+ crores. The success of BB2 is winning praise for Bazmee who has delivered another hit despite the difficult circumstances for the industry. ## The director will now be moving to another sequel to his superhit film "No Entry" (2005). Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan will be returning as the lead trio and the shooting for the same will commence later this year. Meanwhile, Bazmee has also confirmed the development of the Hindi remake of the Telugu hit comedy "F2: Fun and Frustration" for producer Boney Kapoor. ## During an interview with Pinkvilla, Bazmee said, "Yes, I am writing the F2 remake for Boney Ji. It's a great film, but I felt the need to make a lot of changes to the original script. So that's done". ## ICYMI, the sequel to "F2", will be released on May 27th. The original cast Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah, and Mehreen Pirzada, returning to reprise their roles with Sonal Chauhan, and Sunil being the new addition. Mumbai, May 22 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has opened up on the failure of his recent movie, "Bachchhan Paandey". The failure of the movie did shock the film industry as Akshay is one of the biggest stars in the country and has had one of the best success ratios among the top-tier actors. ## During a recent interview with IndiaToday, Akshay was asked about "Bachchan Pandey" and whether its failure has affected his choices. For the unversed, BP is the remake of the 2014 Tamil film "Jigarthanda". ## "Dealing with failure is the same. I've not just had 13-14 flops, there was again a time in the middle where my 8-9 films flopped. I always say you can feel bad for a flop from Friday to Sunday, on Monday you have to pick yourself up and go do another film and be very happy on the set. South Indian Filmmakers Have Raised The Status Of Indian Cinema, Says Karan Johar

Mumbai, May 22 - The trailer of the upcoming comedy-drama film, "Jug Jugg Jeeyo" was launched on May 22 amid much fanfare in Mumbai. Directed by Raj Mehta ("Good Newwz"), the movie stars Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kiara Advani in the leading roles. ## During the trailer launch event, producer Karan Johar was asked to comment on the ongoing Bollywood vs South Indian film industry debate. Karan Johar, who has produced some South Indian films, admitted that the South filmmakers have indeed raised the standard of Indian cinema and that he is very proud of it. ## "When we talk about films like Pushpa (The Rise), RRR, and KGF (Chapter 2) doing good business, we can truly say that this is Indian Cinema. Mumbai, May 21 - Team India all-rounder, Deepak Chahar's sister, Malti Chahar is all set to make her Bollywood debut with a love story film "Ishq Pashmina". She will be seen sharing screen space with influencer-actor Bhavin Bhanushali ("De De Pyaar De"). ## "Ishq Pashmina", directed by debutante Arvind Pandey, will depict a soulful, poetic, and unusual love story which is bound to touch the hearts of the audience. It is produced by Suraj Mishra under his banner Krishna Shanti Production. ## Speaking about the film, Malti said in an interview, "I'm so beyond happy to be a part of 'Ishq Pashmina'. Mumbai, May 20 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, who is gearing up for the release of his much-awaited "Prithviraj", has opened up on the ongoing language debate between Hindi and South Indian. ## Akshay's reaction came at a time when Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn and Kannada star Kichcha Sudeepa recently indulge in a war of words over the Hindi language on Twitter. ## Akshay Kumar was asked to comment on this debated issue while he was promoting Prithviraj. "Why can't we be called one industry? Why are we being called the North and South industry? All our languages are good, we are talking in our mother tongues and we are all beautiful. Mumbai, May 20 - The long-awaited Bollywood movies, "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2" and "Dhaakad" has been released in theaters today.
