Update On Who Produced WWE SmackDown Segment Involving The Rock And Roman Reigns

BY SACNILK

The opening of this week's "WWE SmackDown" saw a familiar sight: The Bloodline taking center stage. However, this time, their dominance extended beyond the storyline. The segment reportedly ran significantly over its allotted time, exceeding 30 minutes of airtime.## Adding to the intrigue, the segment was produced by Jason Jordan, marking a departure from the usual producer, Michael Hayes, for Bloodline segments. No official reason has been given for this change or the segment's extended length.## The lengthy segment focused on The Rock issuing a challenge. Fresh off a 21-minute online promo earlier in the day, The Rock confronted Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, the 2024 Royal Rumble winner and World Heavyweight Champion respectively. He challenged them to a tag team match at WrestleMania Night 1, where they would face The Rock and his cousin, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. The Rock also acknowledged Reigns' authority as "Tribal Chief," fulfilling a demand Reigns made earlier.## The overrun reportedly impacted the rest of the show. Naomi's entrance for the first scheduled match did not air due to the extended Bloodline segment. It remains to be seen if or how other segments were affected. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

Longtime Injury Resurfaces: Bobby Roode Reflects On Career And WWE Future

BY SACNILK

WWE star Bobby Roode recently opened up about his neck injury, revealing its surprising origin over a decade ago during a match with Rob Van Dam in TNA. ## Roode, on "Insight" with Chris Van Vliet, explained the injury stemmed from a "weird circumstance" during a seemingly routine move with RVD. He emphasized it wasn't either wrestler's fault. Despite experiencing temporary numbness, Roode continued the match, and the issue seemingly subsided. ## However, the injury resurfaced during a 2022 match against Omos in WWE, causing further damage. Although medically cleared to wrestle again, Roode, nearing 48, expressed his contentment with his current role as a backstage producer. ## Roode joined WWE with the intention of becoming a coach, a role he feels aligns with his current producer position. He acknowledged his impressive career, including stints in "NXT" and the main roster, and expressed satisfaction with his current contributions. ## While not entirely ruling out a return, Roode conceded a full-time wrestling career is unlikely. He joins Jason Jordan and Tyson Kidd, who transitioned to producer roles after facing career-altering injuries. ## This story highlights the grueling nature of professional wrestling and the adaptability required for wrestlers to navigate the physical demands of the sport and carve out fulfilling careers beyond the ring. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

Jason Jordan Worked As A Producer On 7/31/23 WWE Raw

BY SACNILK

Chicago, 2 August 2023 - Chad Gable and Jason Jordan, who formed the formidable tag team American Alpha, had a relatively brief partnership that spanned just two years. Despite the short duration, they achieved remarkable success by capturing both the "NXT" and "SmackDown" Tag Team Championships. However, WWE management made the decision to separate them in 2017, leading them down different paths. ## Tragically, Jordan's wrestling career came to an abrupt halt in less than a year due to a severe neck injury. Subsequently, he made a significant career shift and transitioned to a role as a WWE producer, utilizing his expertise and knowledge to contribute behind the scenes. ## Per the latest report from Fightful Select, Jason Jordan produced this past Monday's Chad Gable vs. Gunther match and Judgment Day promo. ## In 2011, Jordan inked a contract with WWE, leading to his assignment in the developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). Following his debut in NXT the next year, he joined forces with Chad Gable, and together they created the impressive tag team known as American Alpha. Their partnership resulted in them clinching the NXT Tag Team Championship in 2015. Later, the duo was drafted to the SmackDown brand, where they triumphed again, winning the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. ## In 2017, American Alpha parted ways when Jordan transitioned to the Raw brand, portraying the role of Kurt Angle's son. Subsequently, he formed a short-lived tag team with Seth Rollins and managed to secure the Raw Tag Team Championship in December 2017. Notably, he became one of the select few to achieve the distinction of winning the Raw, SmackDown, and NXT Tag Team Championships. Furthermore, he once held the FCW Tag Team Championship alongside CJ Parker. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk For More Wrestling News...
