Box Office: 'Salaar' Becomes Third Film of Prabhas To Score 500 Crore Gross Worldwide
Hyderabad, December 30 - The first-time combo of director Prashanth Neel and Pan India superstar Prabhas has set the box office on fire in the form of Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire. The action drama also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in the parallel lead role. ## "Salaar: Ceasefire" has ended the long wait for Prabhas of a box office success, and has become the third film of the actor, after "Baahubali" (2015) and "Baahubali 2" (2017), to hit 500 crores gross in the worldwide box office, and the first since SS Rajamouli's directorial all-time blockbuster.## Produced by Hombale Films, "Salaar" entered the 500 crores gross club on its 9th day, second Saturday. It is the 7th Indian and first Telugu movie of 2023 to hit the milestone, after "Pathaan", "Jailer", "Gadar 2", "Jawan", "Leo", and "Animal". Overall, it is the 21st Indian film ever to reach the milestone of five hundred worldwide gross collection.## The film has grossed approximately 390 crores in India and an estimated 115 crores at the overseas box office, for worldwide 505 crores in 9 days. As far as net collection is concerned, it is around 337 crores in all versions, including 105.50+ crores in Hindi alone. ## "Salaar" has particularly done well in the dubbed Hindi version despite the clash with Shah Rukh Khan's "Dunki".
