Box Office: 'Salaar' Becomes Third Film of Prabhas To Score 500 Crore Gross Worldwide

Hyderabad, December 30 - The first-time combo of director Prashanth Neel and Pan India superstar Prabhas has set the box office on fire in the form of Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire. The action drama also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in the parallel lead role. ## "Salaar: Ceasefire" has ended the long wait for Prabhas of a box office success, and has become the third film of the actor, after "Baahubali" (2015) and "Baahubali 2" (2017), to hit 500 crores gross in the worldwide box office, and the first since SS Rajamouli's directorial all-time blockbuster.## Produced by Hombale Films, "Salaar" entered the 500 crores gross club on its 9th day, second Saturday. It is the 7th Indian and first Telugu movie of 2023 to hit the milestone, after "Pathaan", "Jailer", "Gadar 2", "Jawan", "Leo", and "Animal". Overall, it is the 21st Indian film ever to reach the milestone of five hundred worldwide gross collection.## The film has grossed approximately 390 crores in India and an estimated 115 crores at the overseas box office, for worldwide 505 crores in 9 days. Mumbai, December 30 - Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted action drama Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire is going strong, nearing 500 crores gross collection at the worldwide box office. It will be Prabhas' third 500 crore grosser, and first since "Baahubali 2" in 2017. ## Directed by Prashanth Neel, Salaar is also all set to enter the 100 crores net club in the dubbed Hindi version with today's collection, and this is an excellent achievement for the movie as it came in a clash with an outright Bollywood movie like Dunki, featuring superstar Shah Rukh Khan and director Rajkumar Hirani. ## Salaar has minted approximately 99 crores net collection in Hindi in its first 8 days, and it has topped 100 crores at the time of writing this piece. Hyderabad, December 24 - Salaar has had an excellent hold on its second day at the domestic box office, and today, the movie witnessed a jump of around 10%, which is very good considering the second-day collection itself was huge at 56+ crores net in all versions. ## The Prabhas-fronted action drama, on its first Sunday/third day, scored an estimated 60+ crores net collection, which takes the total cume to over 200 crores at around 208 in all versions. Hyderabad, December 23 - After one of the biggest openings of all time, superstar Prabhas-fronted Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire has a strong hold on its second day with a drop of around 45% in all versions. 'Salaar: Ceasefire' Opening Day Box Office Expectations

Hyderabad, December 21 - Director Prashanth Neel has been living a dream of seeing the theatres getting filled for one of his initial subjects in a new form and he couldn't have teamed up with a bigger star than Prabhas to do that for him and the time has finally arrived in a few hours. ## Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire has been in the making for the last two years and it is easily one of the most anticipated Indian films. Director Prashanth Neel Confirms 'Salaar: Ceasefire' Is An Outright Telugu Movie And Dubbed Into Other Language

Mumbai, December 19 - Director Prashanth Neel has been honest in sharing details about his upcoming blockbuster Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire, starring superstar Prabhas in the title role. He has said in the past that his filmmaking style is not giving life lessons to anyone but to entertain the paying audiences. ## Ever since "Salaar" was announced, it has been perceived as a Telugu-Kannada bilingual movie since the movie is produced by Kannada production house Hombale Films and stars a Telugu superstar. However, putting all the pre-assumptions to rest, director Neel confirmed in a recent interview that "Salaar" is an outrightly a Telugu movie and has been dubbed in 4 other languages including Kannada. ## Prithviraj Sukumaran, who is playing one of the main leads, also shared that it was primarily shot in Telugu and then was dubbed into other languages. Commendably, the Malayalam star has himself dubbed in Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi, languages in his voice. For Prabhas, Sharad Kelkar lent his voice in Hindi and he is already receiving a lot of praise for the same. ## "Salaar" marks the maiden collaboration between Prabhas and Prashanth Neel whose last film "KGF 2" was a massive blockbuster, especially in Hindi. Mumbai, December 14 - Superstar Prabhas-fronted Salaar: Ceasefire - Part 1 is all set to hit the big screens on December 22nd during the Christmas weekend. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the action drama has been rated with an "A" certificate by CBFC which has raised excitement among action film lovers. ## The advance booking of "Salaar" will be opened tomorrow in India. Hyderabad, December 6 - Telugu star Nani and actress Mrunal Thakur team up for the first to headline a romantic family drama film Hi Nanna, directed by debutant Shouryuv. The film is scheduled to release on December 7th in multiple languages and the booking for the same is opened. ## Produced by Vyra Entertainments, Hi Nanna is carrying decent buzz among the fans and trade, and as a result, the film scored a good pre-release theatrical business.
