The DC Comics movie, starring Robert Pattinson as Caper Crusader, scored the second-biggest opening day for a non-Indian movie during the covid-19 pandemic at the Indian box office.
As per the early estimates, "The Batman" scores between Rs.
6-7 crores on Friday for all languages. "Spider-Man: No Way Home" took the opening of Rs.
32.67 crores, which is the biggest during the pandemic and the second biggest of all time for a non-Indian movie. "Eternals" is a number 2 with Rs.
7.34 crores.
"The Batman" is a reboot of the Batman film franchise. Set after two years of fighting crime, the film sees Batman uncover corruption in Gotham City while pursuing the Riddler (Dano), a serial killer who targets Gotham's elite.
