The Robert Pattinson-fronted received a strong A- Cinema Score. The DC superhero movie is eyeing the 3-day opening weekend launch between $120-$130 million.
It will easily score the second-best domestic opening of the pandemic era behind only "Spider-Man: No Way Home", which debuted to an extraordinary $260.1 million in mid-December.
As per Hollywood trade analyst, "The Batman's" Friday total is the 5th biggest for a March month release and 35th biggest of all time.
"The Batman" is rated PG-13 and budgeted $200 million. The movie centers on Bruce Wayne's earlier days of fighting crime and is a rogues' gallery of Batman characters. Paul Dano plays the Riddler, a serial killer pursued by Batman, while Zoë Kravitz plays Catwoman and Colin Farrell appears as the Penguin.
