Salman Khan portrays Colonel B. Santosh Babu, the posthumous recipient of the Maha Vir Chakra. Featuring Chitrangda Singh as the female lead, Maatrubhumi has faced several production delays and is currently awaiting an official announcement regarding its final release schedule as of late April 2026.
