Sunny Kaushal and Yami Gautam's Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga Sequel In Works For Theatrical Release; Details Revealed

Mumbai, September 18 - In 2023, Yami Gautam and Sunny Kaushal teamed up for Maddock Films' heist thriller Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga. The movie was directly premiered on Netflix, and went on to become one of the most-watched Indian films on the streamer.

Directed by Ajay Singh, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga received praise for being a one-of-a-kind heist thriller, and struck a chord with the audiences. Now, according to the report by Pinkvilla, the sequel to CNKB is in development at Maddock with Sunny Kaushal and Yami Gautam returning to lead once again.

The report says that the script for Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga 2 is already locked, and the makers are expected to take it on floors by the end of this year. The bigger picture is that the makers are aiming to make it s theatrical film, unlike the first movie, which was made as a streaming product.

"While Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga revolved around a heist in the air, the sequel has even higher stakes as the robbery takes place in the middle of an ocean. The entire plot of Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga 2 is set on a cruise, where all the madness unfolds. Much like the original, this one too will be an edge-of-the-seat thriller with comic elements", says the report.

The movie will be produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films in association with Amar Kaushik.
