New York, 11 November - On the November 10, 2023, episode of SmackDown, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis suspended Kevin Owens. This decision came after Owens disregarded Aldis' orders and attacked Grayson Waller.

Owens had been temporarily taking over commentary duties for the absent Corey Graves, who was away due to his wife Carmella giving birth to their son earlier in the week.



Permission for Owens to step in for Graves was granted by General Manager Aldis, under the condition that he refrained from interfering in any matches. However, Owens chose to ignore this directive and confronted Waller, who had been provoking him throughout the evening.

Following the altercation, Aldis declared Owens' suspension, leaving the duration unspecified. The suspension is expected to be a significant setback in Owens' career.
