The Rock made a stunning return to WWE TV during Monday's WWE Raw, interrupting Jinder Mahal and delivering a spinebuster and People's Elbow.

As The Rock exited the ring, he engaged with the San Diego crowd, expressing his plans to go out on the town and playfully asking whether he should sit in a booth, at the bar, or at the Head of the Table. The crowd's enthusiastic response hinted at the possibility of a showdown with Roman Reigns.



Following the show, Reigns, who isn't known for frequent tweeting, shared a crying laughing emoji on Twitter.

In a characteristic move, John Cena posted a photo without any caption, featuring Roman Reigns and The Rock in a face-to-face encounter. The post appears to be a tease for a potential matchup between The Rock and Reigns.

Roman Reigns currently holds the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.



He is scheduled to defend his title at WWE Royal Rumble against the winner of the triple threat match featuring Randy Orton, LA Knight, and AJ Styles. This matchup is set to take place on Friday's edition of WWE SmackDown.
