John Cena Bares Almost All While Presenting Best Costume Design At Oscars

John Cena took a hilarious (and slightly shocking) approach to presenting the award for Best Costume Design at the 2024 Oscars. In a nod to award show history, Cena eschewed a traditional outfit altogether, opting for a strategically placed envelope and a pair of Birkenstocks.

This "costume-free" presentation paid homage to a famous 1974 Oscars streaker incident. Host Jimmy Kimmel set the stage by reminding viewers of this past "crazy moment" before introducing Cena.



While some might say Cena simply "floated" the envelope to the microphone stand, his near-nakedness created a definite buzz. Kimmel even quipped that going commando was a bolder choice than sporting jean shorts, a playful jab at a past fashion faux pas.

Despite the unconventional attire, the show must go on! The award for Best Costume Design ultimately went to the film "Poor Things."

While some might jokingly speculate this was a cheeky promotion for John Cena's OnlyFans, it was undeniably a memorable moment in Oscars history.
