Cena has not disclosed the specific nature of his injuries, but he is expected to make a full recovery.

On November 10th, John Cena expressed his gratitude to Dr. Jeff Dugas on social media for fixing and cleaning up his arm. He mentioned that he still needed to get his other arm fixed.
Cena's most recent WWE match was at WWE Crown Jewel 2023, where he suffered a defeat at the hands of Solo Sikoa. Following this match, there were rumors circulating about Cena potentially ending his WWE career as a full-time wrestler.
