Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR's 'War 2' Gets 100 Crore Offer For Telugu States

Mumbai, May 23 - One of the biggest Indian films of the year, War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR has sparked massive excitement among the fans and trade after the first look teaser, which was launched on May 20 on the occasion of Jr. NTR's birthday.

According to the report by Pinkvilla, Yash Raj Films has received offers in the range of 100 crores for the Telugu states. It has got Non-Refundable Advance (NRA) aka. MG offers from distributors like Mythri Movie Makers, Sri Venkateshwara Creations, Sithara Entertainment, and Asian Cinema, among other independent buyers.



The studio has received the biggest offer from Asian Cinemas, which has made a staggering offer of Rs 100 crore for the Telugu states for the Hindi and Telugu dubbed version. Sithara Entertainment, on the other hand, has made an 80 crore deal.

These are the biggest offers for a dubbed film in Telugu. The report also states that apart from Telugu states, the demand for the movie is also there in Karnataka, as heavyweights like KVN Productions and Hombale Films are expressing strong interest in releasing the movie in the state.

The presence of superstar Jr. NTR, who makes his Bollywood debut with this film, is leading to huge interest for the movie in Telugu states, and the popularity of Hrithik Roshan is an added advantage in Southern states.

The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Yash Raj Films. It is the 6th film in YRF's Spy Universe and is scheduled to hit the big screen on August 14, in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil languages.
