Mumbai, November 21 - Drishyam 2 has been proven to be an absolute monster at the box office as the film continues to draw huge audiences. Yesterday, the film just witnessed one of the biggest single days post-pandemic for Hindi films by registering 27.17 crores net which was.

The first Monday early estimate suggests approx. 11.50 crores net collection which is a very good number for these types of films. The film has shown a drop in the range of 20-25% compared to the first day which is a fantastic trend for the film as the first-day number itself was a huge one. The first Monday collections will be more than the opening day collections of many huge films released post the pandemic. The first Monday collections will take the entire box office collections of Drishyam 2 to approx. 76cr net box office mark depending on the actual first Monday collections. The film is set for a huge first week and it won't be surprising if the film crosses the 100cr mark in the first week only. Even if the film misses the target it will be very close to the 100cr mark.



Mumbai and Gujarat where Ajay Devgn is probably the most popular star, particularly in Marathi-dominated areas continue to drive the film. The film has a chance of becoming the highest-grosser in the Mumbai circuit post-pandemic for Hindi films. Currently, Sooryavanshi holds the record with approx 86cr net box office collections in the Mumbai circuit and Drishyam2 might be looking for a 90cr Mumbai finish or even more.

Just like the domestic, the film has also managed to put excellent collections overseas. The worldwide collections of the film have crossed the 100cr mark making it the fourth quickest 100cr worldwide grosser of Ajay Devgn after Golmaal Again, Singham Returns, and Total Dhamaal.
