Adam Copeland Left WWE On Good Terms And Would Be welcomed Back Into The Company If He Ever Returned

Last night, Edge, now going by Adam Copeland, made his debut with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Fightful Select reports that Copeland's arrival has received a universally positive response. During a post-event media session, Edge confirmed that he has signed a full-time contract with AEW, indicating that he's drawing significant attention.

Recently, there were some issues between AEW and CM Punk, which eventually led to Punk's departure from the company. Now, it's believed that Edge is stepping into the spot left vacant by Punk, with hopes of avoiding any internal conflicts.



Reports indicate that WWE didn't have exclusive rights to Edge's theme song. Interestingly, some people at AEW were surprised to learn that WWE allowed the "Rated R Superstar" trademark to expire without renewing it, especially considering Edge's departure from the company was becoming apparent.

Within WWE, there was prior knowledge that Edge wouldn't be returning after the beginning of the summer. Report further states that Adam Copeland left on good terms, and would be welcomed back into the company if he ever returned.
