AEW Dynamite Results November 15, 2023: Highlights

Orange Cassidy and Hook vs Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta

Hook and Cassidy ambushed Mox and Yuta during their entrance, sparking a brawl through the crowd and into the ring. Yuta and Hook reached the ring first, leaving Mox recovering. Cassidy, after a slow return, got the hot tag, showcasing "soft kicks" until Yuta cut him off.

Post picture-in-picture, Cassidy was the babyface in peril, countered Mox's mock kicks with a dropkick, and Hook eventually got the hot tag. He and Yuta traded German suplexes, Hook selling for a rare moment. Mox interrupted Hook's momentum with a cutter and shrugged off an Orange Punch, knocking Cassidy down. Yuta capitalized with a seat belt move for the pin and the win.

WINNER: Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta

Mox and Yuta win ahead of their singles matches. Mox vows to claim the International Championship.

A video features Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Koto Ibushi, and Paul Wight in suits heading to the arena.

In the ring, Tony Schiavone warns Swerve and Page against pre-match attacks. Page insults Swerve, brings up personal issues, and surprisingly attacks Prince Nana instead.

Swerve saves Nana, hits a Buckshot lariat on security. Page's promo remains confusing, with Swerve seemingly letting Page wear himself out. In the backstage interview, Roderick Strong claims to know who the Devil is, with ADAM! Coel pointing at MJF. Strong insists MJF is the true Devil.

Singles Match: Skye Blue vs Red Velvet

Blue returns to her Scooby Doo gear after weeks in black. Red dominates early, but Blue takes over outside the ring during picture-in-picture. In the full view, Blue asserts control, engaging in a back-and-forth with Velvet, leading to a series of impactful moves. Blue, the powerhouse, ultimately seals the win with a Code Blue.

WINNER: Skye Blue

Julia Hart and Kris Statlander are seen watching.

Miro delivers a strong promo, vowing to destroy Daniel Garcia.

RJ introduces Mariah May to "Toni Storm," but it turns out to be Luther. May, a wrestler and fan, is treated like a regular fan seeking an autograph by Toni Storm (Luther). Toni requests a tune-up match on Friday and a loofa.

Samoa Joe vs Jon Cruz

WINNER: Samoa Joe

Joe grabs the mic, declaring MJF's inevitable need for a friend. A recap follows of Tony Khan and Bryan Danielson unveiling the Continental Classic tournament, resembling a smaller G1 Tournament.

Penta and Komander vs The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson)

The Bucks start the match with a planned heel turn, faking sportsmanship before hitting Penta and Komander with surprise superkicks. The match features a nostalgic "greatest hits" collection, keeping the crowd engaged in the Bucks' backyard. Nick employs low blows when the ref isn't looking, and after a Judas Effect from Komander, he pins for the win.

WINNER: The Young Bucks

Backstage, Lexy Nair confronted The Young Bucks about their recent cheating tactics. Matt claimed they no longer cared, citing inside sources. Kenny Omega joined, reminiscing about old times. Nick clarified their issue was with Jericho, not Omega, and after winning on Saturday, they could refocus on The Elite. Jericho tried to pull Omega away, calling The Bucks "kids," leading to a tense face-off and a scuffle between The Bucks and Jericho, with Omega caught in the middle.

The Gunns (Austin & Colten w/Juice Robinson) vs. Peter Avalon & Jacoby Watts

WINNER: The Gunns (Austin & Colten)

Like a Dragon Gaiden Street Fight: Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Kota Ibushi & Paul Wight vs Konosuke Takeshita, Powerhouse Hobbs, Kyle Fletcher & Brian Cage

In a wild match, Ibushi and Omega faced off against Jericho and Wight, the former in suits and the latter in ring gear. Chaos ensued immediately, with Jericho using a bat on Fletcher and Wight delivering a choke slam off the stage. Ibushi and Takeshita battled in the ring, culminating in the Golden Lovers' double Golden Triangle moonsaults. The brawl extended outside, with Wight slamming Hobbs on a car hood. Returning to the ring, Takeshita used a bicycle as a weapon, and a brainbuster on Ibushi onto the bicycle followed. Jericho and Takeshita continued their backstage brawl during the commercial break.

Cage set up tables ringside, and Fletcher returned to the ring. Omega endured a double suplex onto a pallet, and Fletcher attempted a bottle shot on Omega, resulting in a possible cut to Omega's hand. Ibushi intervened, and Takeshita delivered a spectacular dive, with Jericho countering with a Judas Effect. Cage executed a superplex from the ring to the floor through tables before another commercial break.

Jericho entered the ring from the crowd, clashing with Hobbs, who responded with a spinebuster. Jericho countered a missed splash, hitting a Code Breaker, and Cage followed up with a F5. Omega and Fletcher unleashed Snap Dragons, and Fletcher, bleeding, hit a Tombstone on Ibushi through a sign on chairs. Omega and Jericho combined a V-Trigger and Judas Effect on Hobbs, duct-taping him to the ropes. Despite Cage's resilience, a series of V-Triggers and a One-Winged Angel from Omega secured the win.

WINNER: Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Kota Ibushi & Paul Wight

MJF, reflecting on his past, expresses fears of letting down fans but vows not to quit. He targets Jay White, questioning his legitimacy as a champion. White interrupts, accusing MJF of pretending to be a hero. Bullet Club Gold attacks MJF, leaving him alone and vulnerable. The show ends with Bullet Club Gold standing tall, and Samoa Joe, offering help, watches from backstage.
