The Young Bucks wasted no time rekindling their rivalry with Private Party, defeating the high-flying duo in the opening quarter-final match of the AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament on Wednesday night's Dynamite.
This marked a rematch of their encounter on the second-ever episode of Dynamite in October 2019, where Private Party pulled off a major upset.
However, the outcome was different this time around. Despite Private Party's impressive aerial maneuvers, the experienced Young Bucks proved too much to handle. The match culminated with both Matthew and Nick Jackson pinning Marq Quen to secure their advancement in the tournament.
Fans are still in for more thrilling tag team action this week, as Orange Cassidy and Trent Beretta are set to face the Undisputed Kingdom's Matt Taven and Mike Bennett in another quarter-final bout.
Additionally, the upcoming AEW Collision event on Saturday will see FTR, The Infantry, Top Flight, Absolute Ricky Starks, and Big Bill battle it out in the remaining quarter-final matches.
