Here is the full match card for this Wednesday's AEW Dynamite Episode which is slated to air live on August 9, 2023, from Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH.

AEW Dynamite airs every Wednesday at 8 pm ET on TBS in the United States. In Canada, AEW Dynamite is available through the TSN website. In India, AEW Dynamite airs on Eurosport every Thursday at 5:30 AM IST.



In Canada, The show is broadcast in simulcast with TNT in the U.S (but is subject to scheduling) and is streamed on TSN Direct as well as TSN's website. In Africa, The show airs every Friday night, two days after the U.S. broadcast.

The show is available on the TSN Direct streaming service at 10 pm Eastern, the same time that the show will air live on TBS and FITE TV.

Singles Match: Rob Van Dam vs Jack Perry

In a stunning twist, Rob Van Dam made a surprise entrance during the 200th episode of Dynamite. Jerry Lyn, introducing RVD as his buddy from ECW, shared that RVD couldn't get the green light to wrestle again due to health concerns. RVD emerged and had a face-off with Jack Perry, causing Perry to back off.



Following this, RVD threw down the gauntlet, calling out Perry for a title match – the FTW Title, to be exact. Not stopping there, he declared that if he emerged victorious, he would hang up the FTW Title for good, retiring it once and for all.

Tag Team Match: The Young Bucks vs The Hardys

On the latest Rampage episode, The Young Bucks switched gears and expressed their desire to go after the tag team titles. Out of the blue, The Hardys showed up in the backstage area and threw down a challenge for a tag team showdown.

The Young Bucks didn't hold back, making fun of The Hardys, but eventually agreed to the challenge. It's worth noting that these two teams had a face-off at AEW Double or Nothing 2022, with The Hardys coming out victorious on that occasion.

Singles Match: Hikaru Shida vs Anna Jay

In the week gone by, Hikaru Shida clinched the AEW Women's Title by taking down Toni Storm. Presently, she's all set for her inaugural title defense against Anna Jay from JAS. It's interesting to note that Anna Jay's very first bout in the AEW was against Hikaru Shida, and now she's geared up to square off against her initial adversary once more, this time in a title match.

Singles Match: Adam Cole & MJF Speak

In the week that just passed on Dynamite, MJF spilled the beans on the AEW All In main event. He spilled that he's putting the AEW World Title on the line against Adam Cole in the headlining match over in London. It's a bit of a twist, considering these two were much-loved partners as a tag team. Now, they're all set to set their camaraderie aside and duke it out for the grandest reward in AEW.

Jericho Appreciation Society Mandatory Metting

The Jericho Appreciation Society has arranged a meeting to talk about Chris Jericho considering teaming up with Don Callis. In the week before, Jericho joined forces with Konosuke Takeshita to defeat Daniel Garcia and Sammy Guevara from JAS. The conclusion of the match included Jericho using his bat. Members of JAS are annoyed with Jericho due to his self-centered actions.

Blackpool Combat Club vs Lucha Brothers

This past Friday on Rampage, the Lucha Brothers announced they're up for a match against whoever triumphs in the Parking Lot face-off between Blackpool Combat Club and Best Friends. Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli from BCC came out on top, paving the way for a tag team showdown against Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero Meido, also known as the Lucha Brothers.
