AEW International Championship: Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Penta El Zero Miedo
Tony Khan has announced that on the August 30 episode of AEW Dynamite, Orange Cassidy will put his AEW International Title on the line against Penta El Zero Miedo. The winner of this match will then face Jon Moxley at AEW All Out.
Cassidy and Penta used to be teammates during the Stadium Stampede at AEW All In. They were part of a team that included The Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent Beretta) and Eddie Kingston. They faced off against the Blackpool Combat Club, which consisted of Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Santana, and Ortiz.
Cassidy aims to secure his 31st successful defense of the AEW International Championship. His most recent title defense was on the August 25 episode of AEW Rampage, where he defeated Aaron Solo.
WINNER: Orange Cassidy
Adam Cole speaks
Adam Cole is set to address the audience on the upcoming AEW Dynamite episode. Remember, at AEW All In, AEW World Champion MJF and Adam Cole teamed up and defeated Aussie Open (Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher) to secure the ROH World Tag Team Championship. In the main event of that same event, MJF managed to triumph over Cole and hold onto his AEW World Championship. This match truly tested their friendship, but they chose to end it with a friendly hug.
AEW has made it known that Cole will be live on the mic during the August 31 episode of AEW Dynamite. This comes just a few days before the highly anticipated AEW All Out event on September 3.
