120 Bahadur vs Mastiii 4 Box Office Comparison: A Forgettable Weekend For Bollywood

Mumbai, November 24 - Bollywood witnessed one of the most disastrous weekends as both 120 Bahadur and Mastiii 4 delivered modest numbers at the box office, despite arriving with brand value and familiar faces. While Farhan Akhtar's war drama 120 Bahadur managed to put better numbers than the other one, neither film could create the kind of impact the industry was hoping for.

120 Bahadur, based on the Battle of Rezang La, opened on a lukewarm note but showed some signs of improvement over the weekend. After a low start, the film witnessed growth on Saturday and maintained the same pace on Sunday, taking its 3-day India net total to approximately 10 crore. While the jump indicates favourable word of mouth in certain pockets, the overall weekend remained below expectations considering the film's scale and subject.

On the other hand, Masti 4, the fourth instalment in the once-popular adult-comedy franchise, failed to capitalise on the brand name. The film remained flat through the weekend, collecting around 8.50 crore across its first three days. With negligible growth from Friday to Sunday, the franchise's fatigue has become evident, and the film has turned out to be one of the weakest performers in the series.

In comparison, 120 Bahadur holds the edge in both growth and total weekend collection. However, with neither film delivering a substantial opening, the weekend as a whole has turned out to be forgettable for Bollywood. Low occupancies, cautious audience response, and lack of strong buzz contributed to the subdued performance.
