Ishant Sharma Ruled Out Of IPL 2020 Due To Muscle Injury

Delhi Capitals that is already riding through Rishabh Pant's injury has got a big blow as Ishant Sharma has been ruled out of reminder of the IPL 2020 due to a muscle tear, the franchise confirmed on Monday (October 12).## "Ishant Sharma experienced an acute episode of left rib cage pain while bowling at a team training session on 7 October 2020 in Dubai. Subsequent investigations revealed that he sustained a left internal oblique muscle tear", the franchise said in a statement.## "This injury will, unfortunately, rule him out of the remainder of the Dream11 Indian Premier League 2020. Everyone at Delhi Capitals wishes Ishant a speedy recovery", the statement added.## Ishant initially experienced pain on his rib cage and it's been revealed that he has sustained a muscle tear. The only match he played was against Sunrisers Hyderabad in which he remained wicketless.## Ishant is the second player from Delhi Capitals who has been out of the tournament. In the last few years, there has been a lot of emphasis on making biopics in the Indian film industries, especially the biopic of sports stars that have been liked by the people. To keep the trend of biopics continue, one of the leading South Indian actors, Vijay Sethupati was roped in to star in the former Sri Lankan cricketer and legend of the game, Muttiah Muralitharan's biopic.## Muralitharan, who is arguably the greatest spinner of all-time, claimed 800 Test wickets and the title of the biopic also resembles the number of wickets he took in the red-ball cricket. The film will be shot in India, Sri Lanka, UK, and Australia. The shoot is slated to start at the beginning of 2021 and is set to release at the end of next year. ## The legendary off-spinner said that Vijay Sethupati is the best-suited actor for this film that he will do wonders. "Once the script was ready, we thought the best fit for this movie is non-other than Vijay Sethupathi", said Muralitharan while speaking on Star Sports show Cricket Live.## "I think he is a very talented actor and he will nail the bowling expressions. I trust Vijay completely as he is one of the greatest actors and I have complete faith that he'll definitely do wonders for the film", Murali added. ## Speaking about Muralitharan, Sethupathi said as per IANS, "It's really nice to listen to his story and spend time with Murali sir. He is like a stamp, he makes a mark wherever he goes with his charming character and personality".## "I love his real-life because fans have seen him in matches on the field, but very few have got a chance to know Murli sir's personality off the field. Despite the cinemas are allowed to reopen with 50% capacity, the Reliance Entertainment CEO Shibashish Sarkar had earlier said that the makers can't release such a big film with 15 days of promotion time. ## "Sooryavanshi' and '83' have been ready for quite some time. 'Sooryavanshi' was originally slated for a Diwali release, but it's not practical. Even if theatres open up in November, you can't release such a big film with 15 days of promotion time", Sarkar had told IANS. ## While Ranveer Singh starrer, "83" still may release on Christmas, the makers, as per a leading entertainment portal, are planning to bring "Sooryavanshi" on Republic day 2021 week. Shibashish Sarkar had also suggested that they will be aiming between January to March to release Rohit Shetty directorial. ## Sooryavanshi is an action film and it is the fourth installment of Rohit Shetty's Police Universe. Akshay Kumar playing DCP Veer Sooryavanshi, the chief of the Anti-Terrorism Squad. His character was announced towards the end of Simmba that served as a character introduction of Sooryavanshi.
